I took a $500 pair of loafers to this store for new soles and new heels. They did the job improperly, resulting in a split in the leather on both sides, damage verified by those expert in expensive shoes. When I returned the shoes and asked them to make things right, they not only refused, but they were rude as well. Because i mistakenly took my shoes to someone other than the retail establishment, the warranty is void, and I am out $500. I believe that an honorable merchant would have accepted responsibility for their mistake. I will never step inside these doors again.

Admittedly, I brought an unusual shoe repair to the shop; however, he said he would do it - told me to return in one week. I returned to find he "forgot" my repair, and that I should return 3-4 days later. When I returned, he said he couldn't do the repair and was hardly apologetic - I don't believe he even tried - recommend you take your repairs elsewhere.
