Liz is a wonderful stylist and the salon is welcoming and inviting. I drive across town to get here--Liz is that good!
After reading reviews from other sites, I made an appointment with Michelle K. I am very pleased and will go back. Michelle is friendly, funny and very professional. She is also a Bumble Rep so... that was a big plus for me because I love their products. She is accomodating when it comes to scheduling appointments. I was with my previous stylist for over 11 years and needed a change...This was a big step for me but I love the new cut and the color she did.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Plum Salon is amazing! Like most women, I am particular when choosing a salon and hair stylist. Choosing Plum Salon was a no-brainer. Robin is my stylist. She is energetic, friendly & a goddess when it comes to hair! She is fantastic with color, relaxers and styling. She gives her clients the look they desire- making us feel even more beautiful and confident than we already are!

If you want a fantastic experience, great hair style, and permanent salon home look no further. I have stuck with Cat, my stylist, for 9 or 10 years now. I have recommended her to all of my friends in which many go to now. The salon is beautiful and the location is great!!!!

I went here on a referral from a friend. I made an appointment with Heather over the phone. She brings me to her chair and then tells me 'Ummm.. I don't do 'Ethnic Hair'... Mind you she didn't even touch my hair..!! I said 'Ethnic Hair?' She said oh, I didn't mean to offend you. (again I say, she didn't even touch my hair. How do you know my hair is ethnic?) I then explained to her that I was Black and Filipino, (my hair is more to the Filipino side) by then she takes my hair out of the ponytail and starts running her hands through it. 'Oh, it's nice, it's in great shape! I'm sorry, I guess I should have taken it down first...' She layered my hair and put in caramel highlights. I was happy with the work however, I feel someone with 'Over 15 years of experience' made a judgment call by just looking at me. Which is a shame because I would have referred people to her. I can't now because she doesn't do 'Ethnic hair' which by the way... Pretty much describes everyone on the PLANET. Do you mean African Americans? Asians with thick hair? Puerto Ricans? Dominicans? Multicultural like myself? White folks with the thick curly hair? What is non-ethnic hair?! I didn't get it.

I'm new to town and was worried about finding a decent stylist. This salon is near my home and looked like a good option. I was able to get in quickly (after waiting way too long for a cut). I walked out loving the cut and was thrilled with my stylist. I look forward to going back!
