Great homestay!, 4/12/2011

I did a two month homestay at Polyglot School. When my company asked me to study in America for improve my English, I didn't know it was so fun. Stuart was an excellent language and culture teacher.... The house was very nice and big. My meals were always with good food. We played sports many times in the week. On weekends we visit museums, famous tourist places and delicious restaurants. I had a very fun stay. And my English is very much improve. .

My son is loving Chinese, 3/03/2011

Our family's new year resolution was to become a little more worldly. My husband is taking a Tai Chi class, I joined a Majhong club, and my son is taking Chinese lessons from Polyglot School. His... teacher is from China and seems really nice. My son loves his lessons and is now getting very interested in Chinese culture and history. I am so pleased to see him being involved in something other than video games.

Excellent Teacher

Our three kids(3,5,8) share a lesson once a week. Ms. Chin Chia comes to our house and is always well prepared. Her experience teaching children is evident and the kids love her. We were looking for a way to provide our children with a little edge for the future. We decided on Chinese lessons. And Polyglot has impressed us continually over the last few months.

Preparing for our trip

My husband and I are going to China for two weeks in May. We wanted to learn some travel Chinese to make the trip more interesting. We starting taking taking lessons together in our home. Chin Chia is an excellent teacher, but my husband found "studying" to be frustrating. He quit after two weeks, but I am loving my lessons. I see my improvement each week. And look forward to acting as the interpreter during our trip. Polyglot has the best prices for home lessons, an experienced teacher, and their schedule is very flexible.

They make Chinese easy.

I have been very impressed with my program. I initially chose this school because they were the cheapest. I drive in from Atlanta and was a little concerned when I saw it was home based. But I have been very happy with the program so far. We are only 6 people in the Saturday class. Our teacher is a little shy, but fantastic.

Chinese for my kids.

My children (8 and 11) get a Mandarin semi-private lesson once a week after school. After only three lessons, they are already speaking basic sentences. This school works well for me because the teacher comes to our home. She is Chinese and seems well prepared. The kids like her very much.

Excellent semi-private Mandarin lessons

My daughter and I are taking semi-private lessons twice a week at our home. We love it! Chin Chia is a great teacher. Although Mandarin is difficult, we are getting better each week. My daughter is leaning quicker than I - no surprise. The lessons will be useful for travel to China and we have fun learning as a family. I definitely recommend this school.
