Downtown Gem
A great casual place to grab a nice glass of wine downtown. Check out the parmesan fries & the delicious burgers. Plus they do Happy Hour MON-SATURDAY!

service was awful
I went on a Saturday night. Very small crowd, and the waiter only had a few tables. Took a long time to get the meal served, and then the waiter didn't check back. I ordered soup with my meal and it arrived WITH the meal (not before), and he didn't ask if I wanted bread or crackers to go with it. Took forever to receive the bill. The food was good but was overshadowed by the poor service.

Good food, good service, and convenient public transit!
A friend and I had tickets to the Suns game and decided to get some dinner before the game but didn?t want to deal with the hassle of the bars near the arena so we agreed to meet at Portlands instead. Fantastic idea!! The place was fairly quiet and we quickly got a table in the bar and had dinner and drinks. The owner(!!) brought our food out to us personally and asked us if we were heading downtown (indeed we were!) and he told us we could catch the downtown DASH bus for free right outside the restaurant and it would drop us off right in front of the arena. We decided to try it and, wow, was it a snap! We were the only ones on the bus and like promised it dropped us off in front of the arena after a quick and scenic 15 min ride. We had a laugh at the game traffic along the way! We took a peddle cab back to our cars after the game and went home happy campers! Downtown is cool again!

A wonderful place to meet friends for dinner!
This is a true gem of a restaurant. My wife and I like to find new places to go with our friends and we couldn't of been happier with this pick. Great location with easy parking. The staff is wonderful, and the food is the best part. I recommend the Shrimp pasta with Cajun cream sauce.

great location for dinner before a show...
I love going to Portland's - I recommend the fire-seared Cowboy Chop. It's a very tasty dish and is a pretty nice size chop. Reservations suggested on Friday and Saturdays. Great Service. Nice menu (something for everyone)
