Problems with Power started with the sales reps. We had two in-house appointments, both over 3 hours long, before settling on a contract for new windows. One of the reps even tore up the contract because he was "afraid that we would cancel." The installation date was pushed back by Power several times, which disruptive to our personal schedules. Installation itself took about 8 hours. Because of the way the installation was completed, our home was windowless in many places at a time, allowing many insects to come in. After the installation we had so many bugs and mosquitoes in the house, that we had to have it sprayed. Power, cleaned up most but not all of the building materials, so I found strips of caulking and pieces of window frame outside and inside my house. The worst part about the windows from Power is that I haven't noticed a difference at all in the coolness of my house this summer. None at all. Also, some of the windows fog up from time to time. All in all, this was definitely a waste of money.
I found Power Home Remodeling associates to be very professional and knowledgeable about their products and services. I loved that the workers kept their work area clean during and after the job was completed. It was a pleasure doing business with them and would recommend them.
Don't get me wrong, but installation was nice. What I have a problem with is the front bay window . There is all yellow glue on the outside at the base of the window. Liked it dripped out of something.. I was told they were going to wash the window after they were done. Which wasn't washed at all. Saw hand prints all on the outside of the window.. Then for the patio door. There was nails and metal left on the deck. The biggest problem our of bay was there were big holes in the wall, from ripping the wood off. On the top of the molding was a long wide deep hole about 3 inches long. And little wide hole on the side of the molding. . This Monday Aug. 29th, they will be coming again to put in a front and back door. And I am sure they will be ripping the molding off on that too.
Sales person gave a very good presentation and was knowledgeable about the material and process. Project manager was focused on our needs and work being completed correctly. Installers did a very good job installing our siding.
We replaced the windows on the front of our house and are very happy with the installation and the windows. The sun beats on the front of our house during the afternoon so these windows are making a huge difference in helping eliminate the amount of heat coming into our house. Our air conditioner is running more efficiently and the house looks like new.
Installers were great - arrived on time, team worked together to install the windows and cleanup was done by the team. Communication from the sales rep to the project manager and to installers was flawless. Great job!
The purpose of this siding project was to match the siding on the house to a recently constructed garage. Power Home Remodeling sourced the identical siding and created the visual effect I desired. The siding thickness and insulation characteristics gave me value for my dollar. New 6" gutters were simultaneously installed to complete a more functional means of quickly eliminating water and leaves. The pitch of the long gutters was set correctly after my personal inspection.
The overall experience for the installations of windows was outstanding. The sales team and inspectors were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of work completed was so good that we immediately discussed and agreed to have them install siding on our house
Had to have Power come back two times within one month to fix problems with original installation. Initial installation was poorly done, I had soffit, trim and gutters done. I later found out that the initial installer only drilled 3/4" vent holes in the soffit, Power requires 2" at a minimum. Soffit material was installed out of square with the house, capping was dented and box gutter 90" are poorly fitted. After the first attempt to fix the worst part of it all we agreed they would send another sub-contractor that did it right in that area. I was so frustrated by that time I did not want Power to try and fix the rest for fear of what might happen, worst then what I started with. Must admit Power did attempt to might it right but at that point they would have had to start all over and I just had enough, time to move on. Upper management NEVER followed up with me even after the second fix. Would not recommend them unless you are going to babysit the sub-contractor to make sure they are doing it right.
As is often the case, there were issues prior to the installation. I was very impressed with the high level of communication and customer service throughout. The end results exceeded my expectations.

We were very pleased with our window and gutter installations from start to finish. All of the employees from the initial rep that set us up with our estimate to the installers were very courteous and professional. This is our first home and first big project and we were so thrilled that it went so smoothly.
