Been going since Sept. 2012. I talked to the office manager. Meet Mrs. RUDE CONDESCENDING herself. I called to schedule vaccinations & boarding. She gave me pricing which seemed high. I called 4 other hospitals within 3-6 mile they were cheaper. PFAH was priced 2 to 3 times more! I recalled her to explain to her what I found. She interrupted "I am comfortable with our prices we are in line with our competitors in this area" just nasty and wrong! I went on to tell her for financial reasons I would have to take my pup elsewhere but would leave the boarding as scheduled and that the other vet would be writing me a prescription for heartworm.. she interrupted me again "I just want you to know we are not a pharmacy, and we only fill prescriptions for people we have a relationship with and a dog we have seen within a year." Well I guess she forgot my dog was there 90 days ago AND this is her only vet she is a year -6mths we don't have a relationship? She said she was just giving me information. LIAR.. she meant every word and since it didn't apply to me why tell me at all! I told her I was afraid to board my dog she said "OH I would never - " I told her keep the passion if she can't treat me like a decent human being what makes her think I trust her with my pet!

This is a follow up to a previously posted negative review. The vet followed up with me and explained everything in detail. I believe the mis-communication was an error/confusion on my part. I am confident that the care our dog received and will receive is the best possible care.

We have been taking our dog and cat to them for years. They are always wonderful with our pets and give A+ service. Recently, we had to put our cat to sleep at a 24 hr center. They must of notified the staff at PFAH. I received a notice in the mail that PFAH had made a donation in memory of our cat. This just goes to show how thoughtful these DRs are! The could of very easily done nothing but they went above and beyond. Well done and thank you for your thoughtful donation!

I am very particular about the care of my pets. Every staff member is amazing- from the vets, to techs, to office staff. Kind, caring, compassionate, great at what they do and offer alternatives. Every vet there had seen my kitty Tristan and each one was so wonderful. If you were promised a follow up call, you got it and if they miss you, they will keep trying. All pet care can be expensive, but the care, knowledge and service is worth every penny. They also have a variety of specialty foods onsite to meet your pets needs as well as top notch boarding. If you take your pet here, they are in wonderful hands.

If you are looking for a veterinary team in Atlanta who cares and has the experience to care for your loved pet, look nowhere else, because Powers Ferry Animal Hospital is the best! They have a wonderful team throughout their office. My little Baxter was extremely ill earlier this year. My only regret is not to have found this office sooner. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Smith and his team.

Thanks to Dr. Miller and the entire crew at PFAH! Bailey is doing great thanks to your competent care! We both appreciate your care and kindness throughout this difficult time. I've been coming to you for vet care for over 12 years, and you've always been TOP NOTCH! Thanks!

I have been taking my dogs to Scott Miller for years and I drive by many other vets to get there. I have senior rescue dogs and he has seen us through illness, accident, wellness and euthanasia. It is clear he cares about my pets but I also find him a skilled surgeon, very knowledgeable and sensitive of my budget. I have seen other doctors when he is out and never had a bad experience. The office and tech staff are wonderful and seem like a close knit family. I volunteer with a rescue group and we use other facilities, I find most vets compassionate. However, PFAH is absolutely the best blend of what I want in care for my pets that I have ever found. 11 on a scale of 10.

I have taken my animals to PFAH for three years now to see Dr. Meg Wright. Dr. Wright is such a compassionate doctor and that means so much when dealing with a sick or dying animal. The staff at PFAH is always very friendly and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new veterinary office.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I initially decided to bring my 2 furbabies here based simply on all the good reviews. I am so glad I did. The PFAH staff & doctors are great. Dr. Meg Wright is who we see most often. She explains things thoroughly, takes her time with us and our animals, and genuinely seems interested in the health and well-being of our pets. This is definitely the Vet for you if you see your pets as more like family instead of just animals.

Can't say enough good things about the staff at PFAH and especially Dr. Andy Smith. We had to make a tough decision and put down our 7 rd old lab w/ cancer and he was very caring, encouraging, and made us feel comfortable with a peace of mind. It seemed like he would have sat with us for hours while we said goodbye to our Sammy. The best experience we could have hoped for. Thank you Dr. Smith and staff!!!
