Unprofessional, misleading communication, no identification on person or markings on truck. Did not follow through or do what they said they were going to do. Hard to get to return calls. Could have diagnosed problem without removing the tv.

Under extended coverage through Best Buy my Toshiba TV needed service (for the second time). The clowns that serviced it the first time sound more like the reviews posted here. These guys have called/e-mailed every step of the way regarding appointment time & part(s) status. They gave me a ONE HOUR window and arrived on time. Under the circumstances, they have been very courteous & communicative.

I'm not even going to go into my problem. Let me just say that all the reviews are dead on. All I see in the response the company gives are EXCUSES and to call your customers liars just shows how COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL you are. It's funny how ALL your reviews rate you a 1-star and say the same thing in different scenarios but yet you say "they" are "lying".What a joke.

Understand what you are about to get yourself into when you use this company for service. My TV is still currently being fix by them and its been with them for 8 business days, They order and replace a part and if that doesn't work they order another part and replace and so on. I have left messages checking on the status of my TV and no one returns my call. When I do call I get a feeling that don't really care. This has really been just a all around bad experience.

First of all, we diagnosed this Customer's unit as needing a DVD mech, which we had in stock! We replaced the mech, and found that the main board was not properly processing the signal from the DVD mech. The Main Board that was needed is longer being manufactured, and was unavailable. I must add that this particular Customer was under an extended warranty plan.(side note: sometimes when buying off brand TVs you risk the fact that parts are hard to find for repair) When his warranty company found out that the part needed for repair was NLA(no longer available), They made good on his warranty, and replaced his unit. Some people just don't realize that being a service provider does not mean that we fabricate our own parts for repair, and that we rely on the manufacturer for service literature and replacement parts. I guess we need to just chalk this customer up to "Can't please them all!".
If you want your appliance or device repaired....run away from this company. They don't show up for appointments and when they do they are incompetant. They promise the world on the phone once you can find someone that can understand that they didnt show up for their appointment...but again they will disappoint you.

My dryer went out 3 weeks ago, unfortunately this company is who Whirlpool uses as their extended warranty service repair company.FYI extended warranty is a service purchased by the consumer to cover repairs after the manufacturer warranty has expired. They have been out 3 times to make the repairs, the third time they came out, they had the wrong part;that was a week ago and my dryer is still not fixed. All contact with the exception of the first phone call, has been made by me.I found them to be uncaring, inconsistent, and discourteous to say the least. L.Etzel

This is the worse company you can ever deal with. The owner Peter Prattigan has no clue about what it takes to satisfy a customer. They can't diagnose tv problems. There're only part changers and will have you paying more than you should. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

This customer did not tell you there tv was repaired Free under his warranty. So how does he know what we charge, he is clearly Lying. He also did not tell you his warranty company was the hold up for the parts not us. PTGI does not order parts for third party (extended) warranty companies. especially his. 87.5% of our customers enjoy a 1 call repair and even more are happy with our service. There are majior problems with parts in this industry check this out: http://www.wsbtv.com/2investigates/index.html or this from jacksonville: http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/news-article.aspx?storyid=103735
