Dustin at Precision Door Service of Atlanta was fantastic! He was proficient, very knowledgeable, polite, and honest. He went above and beyond to make sure the garage door was fixed correctly, securely, and in a timely manner. He explained to me what parts he would recommend replacing at that time and why, and he explained what could wait. It was extremely cost-effective. He did not try to get me to spend money unnecessarily. He gave me an estimate for replacing the doors when it gets to that point. When the time comes to replace the doors, I will definitely hire Precision Door Service to do the job! I can't recommend them highly enough.

The good news is that my garage door now works and the guy doing the work was great. The bad news is that I was totally ripped off. The price for replacing 2 springs and a pulley was $488. I wish I'd done some more research because there are customers all over the US complaining about the same price-gouging tactics.

Two techs arrived, Shaun & Everett. Everett was being schooled by veteran Shaun in the Precision Garage Door methodology even tho' having previous experience. Two springs were replaced (basic problem) as were 2 roller bearings (at my request). Voluntarily, Shaun reset the pitch of a pulley bar erroneously set by the previous installer. Future problem factors were pointed out and to be watchful of. The job was done in record time & at a fair price. My take: Two thumbs up! Jack Allison, 3-3-2015.

Sean arrived as scheduled. Very courteous and fast. Completely changed out the rollers on my garage door, as requested. Repaired a light fixture in the opener unit (not a light bulb) and reported status of the entire system. Quick and efficient - I am very pleased with the results! Thanks

Did some research B 4 I called Precision Garage Door Srv. They are rated high by the BBB. I knew that the door torsion spring was shot and that the typical repair would cost $175 to $250. Sean arrived on time but in a matter of minutes said that the spring was broken (no surprise there) and maybe as well the garage door opener. Price for the spring replacement alone:$495!I said no way and that I'll go to plan B. Sean then asked what would be fair and I said $300 which he readily accepted. Repair took about 45 minutes and everything works fine. Still thinking that they made about $200 as I'm sure the wholesale price on what they paid for the spring was likely less than $100! Morrow of the story... do your homework on what the repair should cost & then negotiate when they try to hi-ball you!

Can't say enough good things about this company. They installed my garage door and Precision 800 quiet door opener (It really is quiet!) last fall and came out 13 months later to check on an intermittent problem. In both cases it was a pleasure to interact with the staff - from the owner, to receptionist to the technician - everyone was super helpful, generous with their time and information, and answered all my questions. And their pricing is more than reasonable. Great value and excellent workmanship. I definitely came away with the feeling that Precision Doors genuinely cares about customer service and quality.

It has been six days since my technician (Mark or Mike) has been to my house to check on my garage door problem. He was at the house one minute and said he will have to contact his boss and get back with me. I have had to get back with him two times and finally I stopped because it was getting no where. We are almost going a week and the communication has stopped except for me trying to reach out. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I live in the Cumming, GA area so beware if you are in that area and look this company up.

We have used Precision on our Canton, GA. home garage door and they have done an excellent job being on time, professional, fair priced, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have called on them for minor repairs three times this year and every time they did a wonderful job. They took the time to explain what went wrong, and what I can do to fix it if need be. They fixed the issue each time and were quick and efficient. I trust them and will call on them for future garage door issues because I know I won't get a pushy sales pitch, and the price is fair and honest. They are great.

My garage door fell apart on a Monday afternoon. Ryan came over on Tuesday afternoon to discuss repair and replacement options. I opted to go with a new door. Ryan came over on Wednesday morning promptly at 7 a.m. and was finished installing my new 18' wide door by 1030 a.m. He was not only prompt but professional, skilled and knowledgeable. This was the third time I'd used them-once for repair, once for a new motor and now a new door, and each time they were prompt and professional. Good job guys.
