Lost a Patient, 8/01/2012

I'm so disappointed in Premier Eyecare of Roswell. My car would not start this afternoon so my Dad came and jumped my car. I called ahead and they said to go ahead and come on in (I was about 10 min... late). I was there about 10min to have my eyes rechecked with my new contacts and order new contacts. I had all 3 kids with me and they did great. We left and my car would not start again (sigh). I backed in just incase this would happen. I ran in and asked if someone could help me (it's a small office, just a receptionist and doctor) The doctor said it might be a few minutes so you might want to bring the kids in. We sat down and a nice patient said I can jump start your car after my paperwork. The doctor came and told me that they did not know how to jump cars. The patient said well I can do it for her. The doctor was annoyed and said well if you help her then I won't do your appointment, I'm getting behind. I was so upset. It's a small office and I could not keep my kids in there not knowing how long it would take for someone to come help me. So I grabbed the kids and said I guess we will have to walk and find some help. She didn't even try to stop us. We had to walk Crossville Road for about 1/2 mile to the Slopes BBQ. I can't believe she would not even let a patient take 2 min to help me b/c it interrupted her day. Her $$ business was more important than her customer service business

High cost doesn't mean high service, 1/25/2010

My husband has had nothing but bad luck with his astigmatism. I read a bunch of great reviews and was excited to make an appointment for him. Everyone seemed really nice but when we got the bill,... we knew why. Then they said it would take two weeks to receive his glasses even though the ones he had on were cracked. We waited patiently. When they came in he called three days later to get them adjusted as he had no peripheral vision and cannot see at all when he tilts his head in the slightest. He has gone through plenty of prescription changes and knows when something is wrong. He called to come in and they said the doctor would not see him for a week and to call back later. Well, after waiting patiently again, he called and they said she couldn't see him for two weeks!! He has constant headaches and nausea, can hardly see and they could care less! We think we are going to return the glasses and stop payment through the credit card company. They have really shown that being pleasant and actually caring do not go hand in hand!! Terrible!!

Are in the business of selling glasses, Period!

I wnet to see Dr. Weinick because my eyes were hurting from time to time. She tested me and said because I was getting older I now needed glasses. Well I am only 35 and have had 20/20 vision my whole life. She proceeded to fit me up with glasses and the whole works. I decided to get a second opinion after the glases didn't fix my issue. I went to see an Opthamologist (a REAL doctor who has gone to medical school) and they said my eyes were perfect and I still have 20/20 vision. My eye pain was from something else. When I contacted my insurance company to see if she could have made an honest mistake, they said people can make kistakes, but the prescription I was given was so drastic there could be no mistake here and that had I worn the glasses provided they could have damaged my eyesight! Go see an Opthamologist and if you use and Optometrist, don't see this one!!!

PREMIER CARE

JUST GOT FIRST PAIR OF GLASSES.I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT PRICE AND QUALITY BUT I LIKE THE GLASSES AND I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.I DO KNOW THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING.FAST AND FRIENDLY.WILL USE again.

Wonderful Chocolate Covered Caramel Balls

Following a very negative experience at the Eye Gallery at the North Point Mall in Alpharetta (see my review posted on 6/25/2009), I contacted a BlueVision Insurance Representative who referred me to Premier Eyecare of Roswell at 330 Crossville Road. There, I was met by a terrific staff who were all very helpful, professional, and considerate. The owner and optometrist, Dr. Renae Weinick, immediately took my eye prescription and personally assisted me in my fitting for new glasses. I found her to be very knowledgeable, informative, and personal. Next, the office environment presented a feeling of home with a comfortable waiting area decorated in good taste. Finally, Dr. Weinick at Premier Eyecare of Roswell honored my BlueVision Insurance and I was able to obtain the exact name brand glasses that I had just tried on a few days earlier at the Eye Gallery for a significant savings of just over $600.00. My overall experience at Premier Eyecare of Roswell was superb, the caramel candy at the reception desk is fantastic, and the money I saved was almost unbelievable. In fact, my next eye examine has already been scheduled with Dr. Weinick at Premier Eyecare of Roswell.
