A friend suggested I try this doctor because she was African American. So I did, the facility is beautiful, the wait time is horrible and once you get in the room to see the doctor, in walks a PA... that is totally clueless. Also had one of the worst chemical peels. I had this peel several times with great results, but not from this office. I called regarding my concern, just was told someone would contact me, never happened. Don't go just because of the doctors ethnicity, you can get better service elsewhere.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
My wife needed skin cancer surgery. Dr. Boutte and staff were caring, concerned, professional. We chose her because she was on our insurance list and didn't know what to expect. Premiere exceeded our... expectations. Definitely recommend and will return.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I took my son to Premiere about 3 years ago because he had severe acne on his chest, neck and face. They prescribed him a generic for Accutane. His follow up appts. were only met with a PA and the wait time is horrible. He had a terrible allergic reaction, but the PA said to just keep taking it. Now he has massive keloid scarring over 40% of his body and we are spending about $100k to get his scarring reduced. The PA never once asked to see his chest and back - where most of his allergic reaction was occurring. When I took him to a real doctor, that physician immediately recognized the problem and stopped the medication. These people are incompetent at best.
I made the mistake of going to premiere dermatology in Lilburn twice. The first visit was for a chemical peel, I felt the lady that did this peel had very little knowledge of what she was doing. I've had this peel done more than once at a dermatologist office at the Atlanta Medical Center and had fantastic results. I decided to go to premiere because their office was a lot closer than going to downtown Atlanta. After a week and I noticed I was not peeling at all, I called their office spoke to the manager and expressed my concerns because I'd had this peel on other occassions and it worked wonderfully and this time nothing happened. She gave me some "fluff talk" about why I did not get the results I normally get. Ok, so I decide once again to try premiere because I had a rash on my arms, I go, see a Physicians assistant, she cannot tell me what the rash is or give me a prescription to clear it up!!!! This practice is just a nice office with noone there knowing what the heck they are doing. So, I continue to make the drive back downtown to the Atlanta Medical Center and see the best in Dermatology there is.
Dr. Wendell C. Davis-Boutte took took me for $4,800.00 in hopes of getting repeat business instead of doing a good job to get repeat business. Firstly, she only gave me a 6 months Financing and would not give me a definitive answer until a week later. She and her finance person charged my account the next day for a surgery that I was not scheduled to have for 3 weeks. Anything could have happened unitl my surgery 3 weeks later. UNETHICAL. They would not even talk to me until a week later, I threaten to get my money back and then she finally told me they would not be able to honor the 12 monts same as cash. He workers are jealous of nice looking attractive black women who could afford the surgery on her on as in my case and I am sure if I was not single, they would have still treated me so unprofessionally. They were all in my business and discussing me with everyone else in the office that where not involved in my case. Lastly, I was her 1st surgery for the day & she showed up at 2 hours late and still did not come straight up to the surgery room, she stopped downstairs in her office to make some emergency phone calls. She told me that she had to make some calls to her suppliers. I was scheduled for 3.5 hour block and goet 1.15 hours and paid for 4 separate areas of liposuction. It does not look like every had anything done. She did it on purpose. NO DOUBT!!!!!!!
I first came to Premiere Dermatology as a result of adult acne. I was seeking an African-American doctor who could identify with my skin type and color. Unfortunately, each time I visited, I saw a PA. Never saw Dr. Boutte about my skin, but her Caucasian PA's. They simply prescribed meds and invited me back to see if they worked (trial and error). Luckily, something worked and my face has cleared up, but not my neck. I later decided to try Smart-Lipo since she had a special going on. DO NOT DO IT! I waited almost three hours to begin the procedure! I was suppose to see her for a follow up visit after 5 wks and had to reschedule because she was so behind in her schedule, as usual! When the 11th week came, I saw her and expressed my feelings about the experience and the horrible waiting room crowd I encounter when I come. She offered me a free facial and apologized. I'm done! I should have listened to the reviews I read about her business before going. I thought my experience would be different. I was wrong. She has a beautiful facility, but the customer service must improve.
