Bought a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder with a 6 month/6,000 mile warranty on April 1st of 2016 from Prestige Auto for the sticker price of $6,500 and upon driving it home (that same day) multiple dash lights came on- the ubiquitous Check Engine light as well as the ABS light, SLIP light, 4WD light and VDC OFF light (traction control). Mechanic's bill to fix it was going to be between $4,000-6,000 (as of right now, the diagnostics of some of the lights haven't been finalized). Spent two weeks talking to Pete who is the manager at the Tallmadge location trying to get them to take responsibility. None of the repairs were covered by their "warranty" and Pete said they sold the car "as is" and therefore it's my problem. After multiple calls and discussions, Pete finally offered to write a check for "a few hundred dollars" as compensation- for a $4,000-6,000 repair on a car that broke down the same day I drove it off their lot. These guys are the definition of shady used car dealer. They sell you a shoddy car with multiple known issues, don't disclose them to you, then give you the proverbial middle finger after you sign on the dotted line.
Area Tallmadge, OH
Cost $5,000 - $9,999
Date April 2016

Buyer Beware. Fabricated a carfax report and had it on the vehicle conveniently not showing major structural damage on a vehicle i guess thinking i wouldn't look at it online. Then when i refused to take the vehicle they held my 4000.00 down payment for months and i had to take them to court and press criminal and civil charges because the manager there name John is as crooked as they come and did not want to return the money. then all of a sudden my money was returned I would strongly recommend going elsewhere, anywhere but there. I ended up happily buying a 2009 mercedes S63 from another location. 12/3 in addition to this they blackmailed one of their own by refusing to pay him until he found a way to have me take down my review of prestige auto mall. i did take it down for a few day until he cashed his check because blackmailing him was dirty as you know what on their part. just another example of how shady this company is

Drove 2 hours after Ryan said vehicle was in great shape. 2003 Mercedes M350. Engine had a tick, white foam on oil cap. Junk. What an A-hole. Do not confuse this place with Prestige Auto Mall in Cuyahoga Falls, OHio. Better yet, Don't waste your time.

I recently purchased a Audi A4 from Prestige Auto Group in Tallmadge, I searched for 2 and a half months for the A4 that would suit me. I always checked out there website because they keep something there for everyone, even a Lamborghini haha. They went above and behond my expectations. One Month after I purchased the vehicle there were a few Check Engine lights that came on. I had went to Florida and back so I racked up almost 2 thousand miles. They had me come in to the shop for the Service work that needed to be done. They handled everything parts and labor, which saved me allot of money. You deffinatley take a chance buying a Used vehicle but its a chance I'm willing to take especially with these kind of people behind there dealership. I plan on going back to them when its time to purchase another Audi. I would recommened Prestige Auto Group to anyone who wants to get the best vehicle for there price range. Thanks again to the entire staff at Prestige!!

Don't trust George, Stephanie, or any of the other guys at prestige. I bought a VW jetta and it ran good for the test drive. After that I didn't make it 15 miles before the thing broke down. About $2500 to fix the cooling system and a few other things and the car is running but who knows whats next. I got a warranty and I'm only getting $167 back. Don't buy from them under any circumstances.

I trusted them, but was ripped off. Car drove good for test drive, but it has been a nightmare ever since. Check engine light came on after one day. Stopped shifting well after 2 days. No customer service, just flat out liars.

I have bought numerous cars from Prestige auto Group 2 for myself, 1 for my wife 2 for my kids and will be returning very soon to help my neice buy 1 for her 16th birthday, all of them being great quality vehicles and only needed normal maintence. I have recommended Prestige to many friends and family snd have never been disappointed so when i stumbled onto this website I was shocked in seeing others responses so I felt obligated to leave mine I thank you for the time in reading my response and wish these people a better exsperience another time because my exsperience at prestige was a happy one and wouldn't go anywhere else!

Only have a limit of 250 words for a review and it is far from being enough. I will say this place was a joke. As person stated earlier, all went well during the test drive and the sale but after we were on the interstate driving home our 300 mile trip things started going badly. The Jeep we purchased ended up with a bad oil leak that was supposed to get fixed with a new valve cover gasket, apparently their mechanic needs more training. The mechanic broke the wire harness going into the map sensor but tried a quick fix, just by shoving the wires back into the connector. The valve cover gasket still leaked... badly. Replacing the gasket myself I seen it was no new gasket, they just tried torquing the bolts and broke one, which caused the leak to get worse. Front axle pinion seal leaked real bad and pinion bearing ended up howling by the time we made the 300 mile trip home. Amazing how they can doctor these vehicles up till you are off their lot and then not answer your phone calls as soon as you call to let them know something is wrong. Altogether, we spent over $1,500 more on repairs to get this already expensive vehicle up and running safely. You spend almost $6,000 on a used vehicle you expect it to be nothing wrong with it.

I recently purchased a vehicle for Prestige, I was concerned at first because they were busy and didnt seem to have time for me. After sitting in their office for a short while a nice man pulled around with one of the cars I was interested in, I thought how nice. They allowed me to drive several cars and when I made my choice I was permitted to have my own mechanic look at it. There were minor issues like the hood latch stuck and minnor scratches on the bumper. I haggled for a while and so did my Husband. After a little discussion the owner offered to ad a warranty and fix the latch. This put our minds at rest. I love my BMW 530I.

The day of the dirt bag used car salesman is not over, this place is run by one of them. They bandage their vehicles up sell them cheap and block your calls when you try and get back with them. They lie on the phone and to your face, and then are protected because you bought a used car.

Buyers BEWARE!!!! Recently purchased a vehicle from these guys. I have been having problems since I pulled off the lot in the vehicle. Everything was fine durning the test drive but then went haywire. Requested my money back within an hour of purchase but was told to bring it back another day to be "looked at". Took the vehicle in to be "looked at" and "fixed" at least thats what they said, but in all honesty it was never "fixed" and the same problems are still present. Requested money back again (still within 24hrs of original purchase)and was told it would be fixed right this time. Still waiting but can predict a patch up job. Checked the Attorney General's website and this company has had 5 complaints with the most recent being dec of 09. Also has a complaint with the BBB.

Not good. 2 cars died during test drives. 4 wouldn't start from the get go. Some cars have flats and broken windshields. Sale guy was arrogant and rude. Do yourseof a favor and go elsewhere on strip, other places have been in business for much longer than these guys they took over last year.
