I was really nervous at the thought of leaving my baby with anyone who was not family when I had to return to work, but I am so happy that I chose PPA for him. He has been there just over 2 months... and really seems to enjoy it there. When I drop him off, he is all smiles for Ms. Jolly, and when I pick him up, he is still smiling for Ms. Debbie and Ms. Cindy. We love his teachers; they are wonderful, caring people. We could not have made a better choice.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
My 4 year old has been attending Primary Prep Academy for a year now and I truly wish I would have started her at this school when I first moved to the area. I am able to go to work with a sense of... peace knowing that my daughter is in capable hands with Ms. Laurie A., Ms. Alexa, Ms. Donna and Ms. Susan. Such a warm, welcoming and service-oriented staff. Dorian CampbellVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Our little one has been attending this school for just over a year and loves it! Ms. Tina and Ms. Maggie have gone out of their way to make our daughter feel comfortable. We are also excited that she seems to be excelling with her ABCs, numbers, colors, etc. but still has lots of fun. We also love being able to see her through the camera throughout the day. So glad we found such a nice day care!
We have only been at PPA about 3 months but just wish we had known about it sooner. I feel sorry for any child that isn't at this daycare. They have everything to keep my child happy and the teachers are exceptional. They have cameras in the building but I would trust my child being here anyway. Love, love love Ms. Laurie and Donna and Susan. Our friends told us this place was the best and they were right!
Primary Prep Academy has been great for my young children. I have enjoyed getting to know that staff that dedicate countless hours to making sure each child's needs are met on a daily basis. I enjoy knowing that my children are in a clean environment on a daily basis as they learn and grow into great young people. The technology offered at Primary Prep Academy makes for my child learning so much at school with the ability to learn at home. I have had nothing but a great experience at Primary Prep Academy.
My child has been at PPA from 3 months old & is currently 6 months old. The teachers truly care for the children. I like being able to watch on camera and it has proven that they do interact with the children and take good care of them. The one complaint I have is that sometimes they do go over the infant ratio they claim is 1:4. So far it has not been enough of an issue for me to pull my child out.
We recently transferred our daughter from one of the franchised programs and couldn't be happier. She is happy, well stimulated and this program delivers as promised. We love all the teachers that we've met and everyone is very professional and we love all the smiles!
We selected this daycare for cleanliness and price but we have realized it was a BIG Mistake. My child has been repeatedly bitten by other kids almost every day for the last few months. Yes, at this age it happens occassionally, but they fail to watch the kids close or communicate w/ other parents to prevent things like this happening. Also, they do not have their accounting processes in order. They tried to tell us we owe money but when we showed them our records they admitted they were wrong. Additionally, teacher turnover is ridiculous! & there are many times when the teacher: children ratio is illegal. This place just does not have it together! The reason this school has received good ratings is beacause they offered monetary prizes for the parents who wrote good reviews on such sites.
The school is cheerful and looks clean, but there is a high turn over for the teachers. Kids look at a screen for many of the activities and there is very little one on one attention. Ms. Tina is great but the other teachers seem not so happy to be there.
Although my twins have only been enrolled @ PPA for a short time, all the staff have treated us very well. I didn't think enrolling @PPA was an option. Having twins makes my expenses twice as difficult to manage & PPA has worked with my family to make attending this school possible. Your efforts are much appreciated! Thanks for going the extra mile Susan.
The owners have cornered the daycare market on Sandy Plains Rd. With 3 facilities(Primary Prep, Sprayberry Academy & Kids R Kids). Overall, Primary Prep is a nice, clean facility. However, pricing at this center and the others owned by this family is high. The amenities are above average and referred to as boutique style daycare. This center may not be for the budget conscious consumer & rates can increase at any time as written in their contract. Lock in your rates with any center for 12 months. Typically, you may be able to get your foot in the door at a reduced price but it may only be for a short period. CONS: No GA PRE-K is available at Primary Prep. If you are willing to cross the railroad tracks or move over to the Canton Hwy area, you will find more budget friendly centers. They may not be as "boutique" in style but quality education should & can still be obtained on a budget. chk out other daycare reviews by consumerwaste.
I would have to strongly disagree with the recent post of this being the Worst daycare. I have worked with the state and investigated day cares. If the Management upset someone by taking action on a complaint and addressing it with the individual- then I would say THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. I would honestly be a lot more upset if nothing was said to the teacher, and they did not deal with it. My son has been attending this school for a few months, and is always very excited about coming. The teachers have learned what he likes, and are continuing to challenge him on a daily basis. He is growing and developing so well, and PPA continues to keep me involved and update me on his progress. They also have many unique programs, and always have fun ways for the families to partner with them. Don't ever just trust what you read online though- go and see for yourself, your instincts will tell you the truth.
My son has been at PPA for a little over a year now and has been doing quite well. He is learning a lot and always comes home with fun stories of what he did for the day. I also love the fact that they do things for the parents around the holidays....love going to his Halloween party, Thanksgiving lunch and now waiting on the Christmas presentation to see my son perform caroles! I have and would recommend PPA to my friends!!!
This is the WORST daycare I have ever sent my child to. They never even asked for her shot records for the 6 months we were there! The teacher turn over rate was high. My 3 year old complained that the teacher hurt her shoulders. I specifically asked that they just watch the video and not talk to the teacher but they did anyways leaving me feeling very uncomfortable dropping my daughter off every day. NOT a good feeling. They also claim that we owe a large amount of money which I know we do not. Please take your children somewhere else.
My daughter started attending PPA in 2005 and continued until she graduated from their Pre-K program. During her time there, she received wonderful and nurturing care from the teachers. My son attended there in 2010 for a few months but we had to switch to a new daycare due to my job change. It was very difficult to find the same level of care, educational curriculum and structure. Luckily we were able to go back to PPA earlier this year! PPA is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a nurturing, education focus environment. As as a full time working mother, I place a huge importance on the care and safety of my children and PPA has not let me down.
