I used this company based on their advertising (no sprayers, no subcontractors, etc...). I would suggest verifying the following before you hire them: 1. Make sure all repair work is quoted up front. The sales guy & owner stated that any additional repair work would be done at cost, but when the "field manager?" came out he quoted at a profit. 2. They state that they do not use subcontractors, but the actual painter mentioned that he would need to review the job prior to starting & a few other references to making a profit that gave me the impression that he was a subcontractor & not an actual employee of Prime Painting. 3. They stated that they do not use sprayers, but the first day stated that a sprayer would "need" to be used. What is better a sprayer or hand roll / brush? Ask this question to multiple contractors when requesting quotes. 4. Will side of trim be painted trim color or siding color? Ask this in advance & get in writing. The sales guy answers differ from the actual painter who comes to paint your home. 5. Cleanup was very inadequate. Many nails & trash & paint drips left on site.

Well pleased with their work - external paint job. They were prompt, professional and easy to work with. Use high quality paint. They may not be the cheapest but I think they are reasonably priced for what they do. I will use them again.

Good points: - They do a thorough job - They clean up after themselves - They work with with good painting materials and good technique - They make sure you are happy with the work Bad points: - There seems to be a lack of communication between the sales guys and the working crew, resulting in a few repeat discussions as to what is best in particular situations. It does not appear to be the result of language issues, but rather differing opinions of the various experts involved. - I think they charge 15-20% more than other painters with the same reputation level (and that, even with a discount).
