We value all feedback from our current and former families. We would like to clarify a few items. We would have liked more than the 7 1/2 days to earn your confidence. Your sons attendance is documented through our Child Care Manager clock and Tadpoles. 16 photos were sent over your child's week and a half, showing your son engaging in mealtime, floor activities, and Thumbs Up! outdoor time. On your son's last date of attendance, although not noted in your review, as we explained to you, the teachers had already notified the Leadership Team of your sons "blisters". We were about to call you when, by coincidence, you dropped by. At the time of your arrival the Leadership Team was in the office specifically discussing the next steps in the process, which is to contact the parent. This information was relayed to you at the time of pick up, and you told us that your son had a fever over the weekend. This indicated to us that you were aware (especially given your profession) that your son may have been sick or was getting over an illness; yet, you brought him to school anyway. You didn't tell us about his fever over the weekend but felt the need to "drop in early". Per policy, as soon as we received a physician's note about another child with a communicable disease, we posted a notice. Primrose always strives to deliver the WOW factor for the families in our care.

Proceed with caution before enrolling your child at this Primrose. We removed our 9 month old son from the infant room after less than 2 weeks. My husband and I arrived at the infant room every afternoon to find him in a bouncy seat with the exception of one time out of eleven times. When I addressed it with the director, she stated that the infants are only in the bouncy seat for 15 minutes rotations. So, I decided to visit at 10 a.m. one morning to find our son in the bouncy again crying. When I reached down to pick him up, I noticed blisters on his hands and feet. Apparently our son had been ill for a while because one of the teachers thought I was there to pick him up for that reason. She had already informed the director. However, I was never made aware that my child was sick. Who knows how long he would have been left in the bouncy seat crying if I would not have "dropped in". His pediatrician confirmed the diagnosis of Hand-Foot-Mouth disease. The assistant director did tell me another child had the same virus. However, the center failed to inform parents that there was an infant with the virus prior to our son contracting the disease. Our son was left in the daycare for other infants to become ill. Lastly, there was still no warning for the parents on the door about this very contagious virus when I arrived at the infant room to gather my son's belongings. That was our son's last day. Please do your research before choosing a daycare. I would avoid this one.

Thank you to the Primrose office team, teachers, and owner for making our first few weeks much better than I anticipated. The pictures, emails and phone calls in addition to the daily activity sheets made it so much easier to be at work. :)

I have an 11 month old and a 3 year old. However my problem was with my 11 month old in the infant room. Which has a total of 6 teachers so you would think that was a great thing WRONG. They constantly sent the wrong bottles and clothes home, than once I asked the teachers they blamed in on one another and I never got any answers as to why the madness kept occurring. The administration would make note to me that everything would be handled however things never got resolved. If they could change the people up front the school would be better off.

My son joined the Preschool last year, and it was his first tiem away from me. The school handled his seperation anxiety wonderfully and full credit goes to his teacher Ms Shari - who not only got him comofortable in the school, but has made him love going to school everyday. The administrative staff is very very approachable and you can talk to them about anything.. anytime. Its an open door.. and i keep on getting updates about the big and the small things that my son does at school. I completely trust the school to take the best possible care of my child. The preschool teachers are awesome - both MS shari and Ms Hutchins... i could not have asked for a better school for my child to begin his schooling with. The only downside that i see is that maybe the school should give a little emphasis on getting the kids to have more sporting activities and would be nice to see them put up a show or something - which in my opinion helps building confidence int he kids and gets everyone together!

To begin with, my child is pretty happy there specially with the lead teacher who is so very warm and sincere. I have not had any issue whatsoever with my child per se as the teacher has been very adaptive to what my child wants. My issues are with the admin there. They can lie through their teeth and actually make you very comfortable telling the stories that they tell. The school can bend in all possible directions to make soemthing happen for the owners child (i guess its a frill that comes as the owner). I was told there would be 2 parent teacher conferences in a year when i had my child admitted.I have to see the first one happening till date and we are already in March end. Things that had to happen in mid Jan.. was pushed to Feb and then to mid march and now its end March.. and it still has no signs of happening.. so prob by the time my child is moving out.. they would make all those things happen. The dealys are never communicated and you have to ask at the office day after day while they make story after story. The admin is pretty nice to talk to and they make you feel warm.. but they do EXCATLY as they want to. They alwyas adhere to all timeslines where finance is concerend, but for the rest.. its a sorry state. It would really do Primrose alot of good if they are transparent and actually adhere to the timeslines told when admitting the child so that there is less heartburn.

Can't begin to express how happy I have been with this school. My Husband and I were so worried about finding a place that would give us the piece of mind we both need to go to work and not worry about our son in fact we thought it would be impossible. I was almost sure I would have to be a stay at home mom. We found Primrose threw a co-worker and without a doubt Primrose school at East Lake has done it! They have been so wonderful. Thank you Primrose!

My experience is, it's been a very caring staff with well managed classrooms that give my son the care he deserves when I'm at work. We're thankful to use them again next year. Yes I would whole heartedly recommend this school and staff as Way-Above- Average in all aspects that are important to us as parents.

this place is awful. the teachers and kids seem ok but the way they do business was horrible. i have 2 kids and i was told they would have spots for my children in a couple weeks. i paid the registration fee which is WAY too much to begin with. this was past february and it is now june and still dont have space available. they wont refund me the money, they say its nonrefundable even though they lied through their teeth. director way too snobby and fake

Primrose School at East Lake has proudly been operating for almost 20 years, with great success. Because of our outstanding curriculum and exceptional care we do have a waiting list in most rooms. We do our very best to schedule families accordingly. However, there are times when a child is not prepared to move up to the next class. In this case we must delay the move in order to stay in compliance with state regulations, Primrose standards and our family's standards. Yes, we have had a few incidents were this has delayed a new family from starting or currently enrolled families from moving up. For this reason we take every effort to communicate constantly and update any start dates necessary. We do apologize to this parent for any inconvenience this may have caused. I think we can all agree that decisions must be based on the well being, development and safety of the child. Ms. Lynn Proud Owner
I wouldn't take my son anywhere else! My wife and i have had our son at Primrose for over 3yrs now and we love it, they are like a second family to us. Our son prays for his teachers every night. Anytime we need advice we can always count on the managment team. When you walk in school your greeted with a big smile. Our son always has something great to say about his day. It's such a great feeling to know our son is getting the love, attention and learning experience he needs.

I can't comment on the child care but as far as the professional aspects or should I say lack of. Do not be fooled into thinking that you will have a spot for your child just because they confirm a date that you can bring in your child. We were constantly getting canceled at the last minute for the last 3 months. We finally said enough is enough, there's only so much incompetence that a person can deal with. If we weren't using a personal babysitter, I'd be furious, we had to keep telling her one week that we were leaving and then call her that same weekend to beg her to take back our child. Overall I'd say use Extreme Caution if you are trying to use this daycare, call DAILY to make sure that you still have a spot for your child, be very careful when you give your notice at your current daycare and find out that they can't find a spot for your child, and don't forget to ask for your $90 back. Also ask yourself, if they can't even manage/organize their business right, how will they be able to take care of all these children? So if you want to deal with all this hassle, go for it.

My wife and I enrolled our son into Primrose at East Lake in January of 06. We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received in the infant room. Ms. T was one of a kind and we knew our son was well cared for. Primrose is more than just a place to drop your child off for the day, it is a positively charged environment that the children really enjoy. Every single time we have had a concern about anything at Primrose it has been handled with a high priority and quick response. A daycare/school that also teaches sign language is invaluable. I will not hesitate to enroll our second child at Primrose when that time comes.

My children have attended Primrose for several years they are extremely happy here and so am I I love the Management team however at times I thought they could use an additional person. Well low and behold, it was like Ms. Lynn the Owner, read my mind they have 3 Managers now and I am happier than ever. I have to agree with the person that mentioned Ms. Amber is wonderful! she is. And Ms. Jessica is Awesome! she always knows what to say to make you feel better or advise to give for any child related questions and I couldn't go without mentioning Ms. Stephanie so helpful and always happy to see you. Great team!
