Very painful experience
My experience with this daycare was so painful that I have avoided to mention until now. In 2009, my son was 1.5 year old when I sent him to this daycare. At beginning it appeared to be a good place. Until one day I got a call from the director that one of my son front teeth was fell out. I rushed to the daycare and saw blood all over his face and clothes. I asked what happened, they said the teacher did not see what happened. What the teacher saw initially was his tooth was on the floor and he was bleeding. I was very upset that they did not know what happened , but I also realized that accidents do happen to kids, so I did not press them too much. My son was still going to that school.

A few days later, I got a phone from a state agency, she said ”According to the daycare accident report, your son pulled his tooth out of his mouth, I feel it is not possible, so I call to verify with you.” So I went back to the daycare to asked how my son pulled his own tooth out, they said nobody saw what happened, so that was possible. And they (the teacher and the director) teamed up to make a story of how my son pulled his own tooth. Whenever I think about this, it still makes me sick to my stomach. I still can’t image how such liars, such dirty people are working in daycare. They wanted to avoid liability by making something up nobody would believe. My son is in much better place since then.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!
I was very worry about what school to choose for my son. Now I'm sure I chose the correct one. Primrose School of Alpharetta has been great for my son, he loves it! They work with you (the parent) in every aspect you need. Very good school. I can see my son;s development and even people on the street always ask me about my child and how much he knows and all I can say is Thanks Primrose!! :)

Awesome Place
My daughter has been in Primrose of Alpharetta since she was an infant. She's almost 4 and loves her school and her teachers. The staff is very polite and professional. The curriculum is the best. My daughter surprises me with her vocabulary and social skills. I love this place!

The worst place ever! Avoid at all cost!!!
My son, who is 4 yrs old, Ethan was hurt on April 21, 2010 at his pre-school in Alpharetta, and was taken to the hospital for damages near the eye. He was treated and released that same day. That same day, I went to visit the director of that school to ask for their insurance information. She stated, "she would talk to the owner and fax it to me the next day." Of course, I didn't receive it. I called the school on April 23,2010 and spoke with the director and stated further actions wi ll be taken if information is not given. Thirty minutes after our conversation, I got a call back from my wife saying, " Ethan is not allowed here anymore." Ethan was to graduate with his fellow students two weeks from now with all the other 4 yr olds. Now he can't because he has been expelled for no unknown reasons. He has been a good child and everyone loves him there. Other than having issues with the administation of him getting hurt. I have paperwork after paperwork of how good he is as a student. They had the nerve to say my son injuries was just a boo-boo. I am so upset and hurt by this establishment, that I will sue them and let every know what kind of people they are. «

A big-kid school for the little ones
I transfered my 3 year old to Primrose from anther local daycare several months ago - I have since been very pleased with my decision.

I find the cost to be reasonable for the care and lessons that she is recieving. Instead of a simple daycare, Primrose is more school-oriented than even the priciest Alpharetta childcare facilities. The art and the stories she brings home are very focused on content, and are not just time-fillers. She really enjoys the daily lessons and the special guests (firefighters and policemen)! I love her teachers, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Aida; they are very focused on progress, both personally and scholastically. I get daily reports and lots of insight on how to help her continue her learning at home. My favorite part is the school's focus on character-building. They have words of the month such as "honesty" and really help the children develop.

The school itself is very quaint, cozy, yet modern. It has a warm "old schoolhouse" feel, but does not lack in up-to-date educational toys and equiptment. You just feel good when you're there. Every time I call, I get a director on the phone, and they are so nice and prompt. As I understand things, they have been there for quite some time, and the owners have been the same for 20 years! Impressive. When asked about their safety protocal and disaster plans, they response was immediate and very satisfactory.

All-in-all, I am very pleased with this school, and will continue to send my daughter there.
