I have been a primrose parent since January 2011. I have been most impressed with the level of attention, love and education that my first born has received. She has moved from the infant room to the next 3 rooms and now currently in the PreSchool class. My son is currently in infant room. I love how much of a team I feel that each of the classroom teachers are. They work well together to ensure my children are constantly cared for. The front desk staff always works hard to make sure all of my questions and requests are always attended to; for that I am truly grateful. Never have I ever been worried about my children after I drop them off each morning. Each teacher seems truly happy to see and meet each of my children each day. My daughter loves school, loves her teachers and loves her friends. I have also been impressed with the recent change in the food options. It seems like the options have been much healthier and a wider variety of food choices.

I love this school. As a mommy and step mommy who is one of those "high-maintenance" parents, it's not easy to please me. I would not have my child anywhere other than Primrose and not just any Primrose would do. As a former teacher and teacher trainer I KNOW the curriculum is robust and thorough, the teachers are highly qualified and my dealings with the owners, directors and teachers have been professional and caring. It's the hardest thing in the world to put your little one in someone else's hands, but with the Primrose School of Sprayberry, you can breathe easy knowing your child's day is full of love, hugs, praise and lots of learning.

If you care about your child find another daycare. - Private prek canceled field trips due to new seat belt requirements this past year. The owner (Jim) did not want to spend the $3k to upgrade the seats Odd that somehow they managed to take the children in a bus to the overblown 'graduation' rehearsal ceremony though. - Movies are shown weekly. Upon complaint I've been told they are books on video.. - Summer camp schedule is horrible compared to other schools. One or two field trips per month. No in school entertainment weekly. Splash days monthly instead of weekly. The worst part: education. Virtually none is provided. The Private PreK curriculum has no sight words, written work, or paper work taken home. We were told the curriculum changed several years ago and removed all of those and is now more 'creative learning'. This will not prepare a child for Kindergarten as it has not prepared mine. There are plenty of other daycare centers in the very near vicinity that offer better education and value.

Hi, my name is Jim Towey, and I am the owner of the Primrose School of Sprayberry. We are dismayed to read your thoughts about our school and disagree with your assessment. Our goal is to always partner with our parents to provide the best possible learning experience for the children in our care. In doing so, we have an open door policy at our school and always welcome feedback from our Primrose families. We encourage anyone reading this online review to please come and visit our school to see firsthand how we engage with our families to provide our students with the right foundation for success in learning and in life. My email is email@example.com if you would like to contact me directly, or please feel free to call the school at 770-578-4832.
Mystery Shopper at it again! High, prices, nice school, friendly staff. Boutique style. Budget busting rates. Not for budget conscious consumers. I am finding as I explore Daycare centers in this area rates are HIGH for everything. More than my modest mortgage payment to be exact. Pros: GA Pre-K, Cons: $135 a month for food & you have to placed in a drawing & only then if your name is pulled will you get a guaranteed spot in GA-Pre K program. 10% discounts for more than 1 child which it not enough if you have more than 1 child. This can quickly add up. Traveling only a few miles outside of this target area such as Canton Hwy, will get you lower rates especially for after school care. The value is a 2 based on price but typical of this area. chk out other daycare reviews by consumerwaste.

I am the owner responding to consumerwaste. We are admittedly not the lowest tuition around but you get what you pay for and the value is very present. Value is much more than merely cost. Our curriculum is unmatched in early childhood education and our school has ratios lower than state standards. Our Healthy Menus nutrition program is superb and included. As for a drawing for GA Pre-K, this is necessary due to typically receiving 250 - 300 applications for one class each year.
Be careful as this school struggles with communication to the parents and lacks qualified, dedicated personnel. My 3 year old son was attending this school and his teacher failed to inform me about his constant behavioral issues that continued for a year! None of the personnel felt like there was a need to talk to me about my son's behavior. When problems escalated and I finally reached out to the teacher I was told that "she did not know how to handle my son nor had enough time for him...!" This is a typical preschool with huge emphasis on academic performance but almost none on socioemotional development.

This is absolutely the best care for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and kindergarteners! I sincerely LOVE everything about Primrose School of Sprayberry and highly recommend this wonderful place to any and every parent. A parent wants to know they are giving their child the very best care possible and with this place you will definitely know you have your child(ren) in the best, most capable, loving awesome hands! From the owners to the Director, Assistant Director and all the teachers - you feel the love the moment you walk in the door. Parents and children alike, adore this place. The staff is so appreciative of their "families" too - so much so, that they are always "rolling out the red carpet" them. They have such fun themed school parties and invite the parents, cookies on Friday, and breakfast-on-the-go for busy moms and dads. I feel great bringing my daughter to Primrose School of Sprayberry because she truly loves it there - her teachers, friends and she has fun and learns a lot! Please, call them if you are looking for an incredible, safe, loving, nurturing and educational environment for your child. From one parent to another, I promise, you will be glad you did! My daughter was in private pre-K there and now is in kindergarten there. She has a Sept. 8th birthday (missed the public school cutoff date by 7 days). What a blessing! This kindergarten program (like the private pre-K program) is off-the-charts incredible. They have awesome summer and winter camps too! A+

We had both of our daughters at Primrose for several years. The teachers are great, very patient and loving. Jim and Francie are very involved owners, who are responsive to issues. This is a great school!

With new ownership, this school is struggling with communication among its teachers and subsequently, to the parents. Morale is very low and care slipped. The short story?? My 6 month old daugher was not fed one afternoon. NOT fed!!! Simply unacceptable. There were several other instances, but this was the last straw. If you are ok just dropping your kid off and having little to no communication with the teachers about how things are going, then you might be fine. But if you are looking for true engagement with your infant's teachers and want them to be excited when they sleep through the night, or eat a type of food for the first time, etc, then this is NOT the place for you!! It may get better over time, but there was little to no notification about personel changes, and seems like priority is placed on the older toddler children versus infants. For the expensive cost, find another place to give you better peace of mind!

I am the owner of the Primrose School of Sprayberry and I would like to discuss this with you. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are considering this school for GA Pre-K please look elsewhere. The children in the GA Pre K program are treated like 2nd class citizens. They do the bear minimum for these kids because they can. It's almost as if they enjoy excluding these kids because ether feel superior to them. I was excited for my child to be in this school for Pre K but after this year, I really wish I had gone with the more popular school in the area for Pre k. I have been so sadden by the way they have treated these kids. I used to think very highly of this school. Unfortunately, after watching them treat this class like pheasants for a year, I would never recommend anyone send a kid here. You should love all children regardless of whether or not you deem them to be poor. I am far from poor, but I wanted to see what GA Pre K had to offer. This school should be ashamed because it is obvious they don't really "love" kids.

My daughter is in the toddler room and her teachers are very nice, she comes home having learned something new every day, and it is cheaper than the previous Primrose we used. Highly recommend the Primrose philosophy all together.

It dated back 2 or 3 years ago on the FIRST day when I put my daughter there. However when my husband and I picked her up, we found that there was a bruise on the right side of her face as well as bruises on BOTH of her legs! However, not a single teacher noticed until we let them know. Nobody there ever knew what happened. How could we ever feel at ease to put our daughter again at that school based on the FIRST day of such bad experience?? On the 1st day you met with such problem, you could tell there was probably more than a coincidence of negligence of teachers there.

We moved to the area and switched to Primrose after a bad experience with another school. Both of our children have loved it. They have an excellent curriculum and our 4yr old has learned a lot there. The infant room is very loving as well. On top of this, they do a lot of fun activities there. In the last year they have implemented a sports program teaching soccer, baseball/cricket and basketball at different times of the year. Our oldest has learned a lot through this as well.

I switched my son after being very unsatisfied with the quality of his education and care up to this point. He was in another daycare and it seemed as though the only education he got was at home. Within the first week I noticed a big difference in everything. From his attitude about going to school to picking him up and talking about his day. He is a lot happier now and I can see that he is actually learning things. A++++

I relied on this daycare for quite sometime and was very happy with the babyroom teachers. HOWEVER, while I was visiting another business in the area and checked on the daycare, I witnessed a child being very badly verbally abused by a teacher there. The owner was not responsive, and was more concerned with not letting others find out than addressing or investigating the problem. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING! Use extreme caution with this location!!!
