Two visits: At the first, my husband was misdiagnosed with a prostate infection and given antibiotics. It was, instead, the beginning signs of a kidney stone, which manifested later with a very painful experience at an ER. The doctor at ProMed put him on a broad spectrum antibiotic which (long story short) caused a C.Diff infection, a gut infection that is very hard to beat. (He was then treated for the infection by a different doctor.) Second visit: My husband was having some abdominal pain and wondered if the C. Diff was back. We filled out paperwork, met with a tech, and waited. Then the doctor popped in and told us they could not treat or test for it. We were still charged $50 for the "visit."

I visited ProMed because I needed to go somewhere affordable since I have no health insurance. Their rates were reasonable but even more importantly the staff was terrific and made me very comfortable. They clearly care about their patients. I would recommend ProMed to anyone!

I went here on a Saturday and got right in. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was most impressed by their low prices - $50-$60 for the doctor visit - which is the lowest I've seen in Atlanta for the uninsured. I would recommend this place to anyone needing urgent care without insurance.
