Owning an '04 Volvo XC70 and having few issues till this weekend I've been wanting to find a good placeto take it when my expertise runs short. So after recently noticing a strong gas smell outside the car I took it there based on good online reviews thinking it was the fuel line or pump. While Phillip could have replaced the fuel pump he advised me there was possibly a recall on it and when I checked with the dealership there was, so I was able to schedule that service for no charge. Many places I've been before would either not be aware of recalls or assume I didn't so I'd never know and they would do the work themselves for some profit. I will be back for my 75k service with some peace of mind that he'll shoot straight with me.

Owning an older Volvo and now an older Mercedes Benz, I can't imagine using any other shop for service or repair. My experience with this shop and Philip's knowledgeable technicians is hands-down the best find I've ever experienced. If I needed repair on a roller skate, bicycle or scooter, I imagine Philip would tackle the issue with the same diligence and honest effort he gives our autos. This is the only shop I'll ever drop a vehicle off and leave a note of what I need done without first demanding a written estimate, I thoroughly trust these guys.

After buying a used Volvo S40 a few years ago, the seller recommended Professional Automotive Repair. We have been back for oil changes, regular maintenance and a few things that needed repair. They have always been fair and their prices are much better than the dealer's. They are willing to provide free advice on related matters if they do not provide the service themselves (headliner replacement). As long as we have a Volvo we will bring it here. btw, I priced tires at one point here and thought they were too expensive. When I went to my usual tire shop, the comparable speed rated tires were roughly the same price. I should have had the tires replaced while my car was already at Professional Auto.

We have been happy and loyal customers of Professional Automotive Repair since December of 1997. They have serviced our 1993 Volvo wagon, our 1999 Volvo wagon, and now our 2002 Volvo wagon. We have also recommended them highly to others and they service our son's 1998 Volvo wagon. (They do service makes beside Volvo, I hear). Phillip and the staff have always been most courteous and professional. The maintenance and repairs are performed expertly with genuine Volvo parts - I don't recall a single callback in 15 years of service. They provide excellent work at a great value. They are my family's trusted Volvo mechanic, and I recommend them most highly.

I do not quite know how to respond to an anonymous complaint about someone price shopping, but I will try to respond as I am very proud of our unsolicited positive reviews from so many other customers who have actually used our services as opposed to someone who is merely price shopping us by phone. First off I would ask if what you are being quoted for in each case is for a four wheel alignment including the measurement of the thrust angle or are you being quoted for just a two wheel alignment. Our price on a two wheel alignment is $60 as opposed to $90 for the previously described 4 wheel inspection. Some will tell you that on a front wheel drive vehicle with no adjustments on the rear axle, that a 4 wheel alignment is unnecessary. We would disagree. Checking all the wheel angles and the thrust angle is essential for achieving maximum tire life and the best fuel economy. We have found many cars with bent suspension components (thanks to our city's pervasive potholes)that were not visible to the naked eye but were revealed by measuring all the variables that are possible. Perhaps you don't think your Saturn deserves checking thoroughly, but we would check it as fully as if it were high-line sports car. The make/model or cost of a car does not influence how we treat a car or our customers. Also, there is more to value than price alone. We pride ourselves on having served the community for almost 27 years now with a staff that has, for the most part, remained relatively unchanged over the years. We would not have survived so long, and retained employees and customers so long, without providing the best value for the dollar. We don't try to be the cheapest, we try to be the best! I think our reviews reflect our value given for the the money spent. When price shopping alone you can always find someone who is willing to undercut the next guy, but you usually do not find him in business as long or with as many repeat customers that we take pride in having.
I'm new to town and had car trouble recently. I didn't know anyone to ask to recommend a repair shop so I just picked this place at random and I got lucky! Very honest, quick service, good value and didn't try to tell me stuff was broken that wasn't (which I've had happen before!)

I have used Professional Automotive Repair since I inherited my mother's 1991 740 Turbo. They have always treated me fairly. They keep my 1991 Volvo maintained and on the road without making up unnecessary repairs. Phillip Reeves always listens and provides options to keep my Volvo on the road without breaking the bank.

Fifteen years and counting, they've kept our cars on the road. Always honest. Always pleasant. Always correct. Why buy a new car when they do such a good job of keeping an old car going strong!

I have taken my car to Professional Automovie Repair for two different issues. In both instances, they were quick, less expensive than the chain stores and dealer, and helpful in pointing out other repairs that may need to occur in the near future. They are one of only a few places these days where you would still consider a mechanic "trustworthy".

I have to say, I didn't know what to expect. What an incredible professional service team. We will not only bring our Volvo to these guys but we're going to have them service our Sequoia from now on!
