Boaters (or anyone who drives) beware of this place. Professional Wheels is anything but professional! 19 months ago I purchased two tires for my GMC Suburban at Professional Wheels. This may seem like a long time ago, however, the Suburban is an extra vehicle that is rarely driven. There was approximately 1500 miles on these tires when, while driving on the I-15 the front passenger tread separated from the tire and flew off with such velocity, it pretty much wrecked the side of the Suburban. I couldn't believe it happened, as the tires were barely worn. I called and spoke to the owner, who immediately asked if everyone was okay, then told me to come down and he'd take care of it. When I arrived, one of the workers surveyed the damage and informed me that for $160.00 they could replace the tire! I explained that I had spoken to the owner, whom they promptly called. When he was told the date of sale was Aug of 09, he changed his tune and stated there is no warranty. This is absurd, of course, as tires are not warranteed by date of sale, but by mileage. It is glaringly obvious that these tires are virtually brand new (see pics). So, looks like I am out one truck tire plus at least $1000.00 damage to the side of my truck. Not one worker offered any kind of compensation for the tire or damage. All I can say is that they are lucky I was able to keep it under control when it blew at 70 mph. Had we crashed, this shyster would be dealing with a lot more than a bad review.
