We recently remodeled our master bath and chose Pro Stone for our granite vanities. After installation of our vanities, we noticed a lot of pitting in the stone and called to express our dissatisfaction. They placed a new order for us. Two weeks later they delivered two new tops, which we declined to accept, as they too were pitted. At this point, they suggested we go directly to the warehouse and choose our own granite slabs, which we did. Shortly thereafter, our new tops were delivered and installed. Guess what? Still pitted. This time we were told that the pitting occurs AFTER the polishing (which means we wasted our time even picking out our tops, as they had not yet been polished). We were also told (after the fact) that pitting is common in certain colors, and the color we chose just happened to be one of those colors. Find a dealer who will help educate you beforehand, so you don't end up being stuck with a product you are unhappy with.....as we are.
