Pumpco Septic, LLC

I chose Pumpco as the price seemed to be the cheapest. I would not say the workmanship was poor, but I most certainly feel ripped off. I was charged for emptying a 1500 gallon tank but discovered later my house paperwork states it is a 1000 gallon tank. I wish I had measured it at the time to be sure! I was told the filter needed replaced. I paid $450 for what can be bought in Home Depot for $40. The old one probably only needed washed. Fitting took 30 seconds. I was also quoted $2000 for a chemical treatment to treat the lines from the tank (2 small tubs). I refused and found a suitable alternative for $200 online.
I don't mind paying a fair price for a dirty job but being quoted 10x the cost of items is a rip off to me.

They came out to my house to give me a quote and they were the cheapest one yet. They were friendly and explained what I needed so that I could understand. They fixed my system and I am happy! If you want a honest septic company at a great price call Pumpco!

I was backing up so I called Pumpco. They arrived at my house in an hour. My toilets were up and running in no time! They were friendly and courteous. I will use them again!

I called Pumpco and requested service to get my septic pumped because they could go today and they were the least expensive.. They arrived over an hour after the scheduled time. I was called to say it would cost me TEN TIMES the amount quoted to do the pump because other work needed to be done. I said I couldn't afford it and he backed down to half that price to do a quick fix. And if I didn't do that, the price to pump it was still going to be $70 higher than the price advertised and given to me by phone. My husband called the service tech to discuss. He ended up leaving without pumping because I had told him I didn't want to invest $2000 without getting a second opinion and he took that I didn't trust him. I would not recommend this company due to the obvious bait and switch type antics they have.
