Pure Fitness

We have been members of this location since about March and the experience has been very good. The facilities are clean. The staff is all approachable and friendly, and the price is right. With a little effort and commitment (3 visits a week for the first 3 months) membership dues will drop by $2 per month, which adds to the value.

Would be nice to have a pool and spa on premises, but space does not allow for these. Members are allowed to visit any Pure Fitness club, so there are other Pure Fitness locations in the area we can use the pool.

I would recommend this club to anyone.

The upsell is unbearable and everything they tell you during the initial sales talk turns out to be a complete fabrication. Also, each person you talk to tells you a completely different story about what you can expect, what their programs offer, etc. (including the managers). And the turnover rate of both employees, trainers and managers is like nothing I've ever seen. A complete scam and not worth the "savings"

I wanted to join Pure Fitness and this happened to be the location closest to me. There is no indoor pool, no track.. This location is lacing in a lot of what other locations do have. With the plan I signed up for ($21.99 per month)it did include me being able to go to any other locations. They claim that you don't sign a contract but we have been having money debited from our bank account every month for the past two years now, despite the fact I no longer go :(! To cancel, you have to submit a written request and even then, it takes more than a month for them to process the cancellation. It didn't take that long for them to process my new account. Initially when I joined, I was provided with a private instructor who did little more than try to sell me vitamins and extra services. We wound up buying about $80 in vitamins in addition to the gym membership. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I used to belong to the one on 75th and Bell. I didn't like it because all that was there were young teens trying to pick up on one another or showing off. There were no private dressing rooms. The place was hot and uncomfortable. Plus they were always trying to sell me pills for weight loss or personal training. And don't believe that story about free personal training. The couple of times I made an appointment they would turn around after I showed up and tell me they had to cancel it or that it was never scheduled. The one time I did get my free personal training I got some young kid who didn't understand older bodies needing to take things easy.

If you have kids don't ever use their daycare. They scared and treated our 12 month old baby so bad, that she doesn't stay anywhere anymore. When this happened she completly freaked out and all purefitness management did was blaming the baby. If have children protect them and don't ever go there.
This is not Pure Fitness this is Poor Fitness

the commercials for pure fitness are right on: it's a place for every body. everyone is nice and i didn't feel like i was working out in a meat market. all the trainers were encouraging and upbeat no matter what your fitness level is.

The staff at this location are all very outgoing and extremely helpful!! They make working out fun and something to look foward to.

Pure Fitness is a great place to work out. Friendly trainers, lots of classes and inexpensive compared to most health clubs. Note: This location does not have a spa/pool, but there is one close by that is included in the membership that offers those facilities.
