I enjoy Puri's Bakery, and am glad it's here! The cakes and cookies are EXCELLENT, a great variety, all tasty and beautiful. The owner bakes it all himself! The chicken salad crossiant is great too. I haven't tried the Indian food yet, as I love the chicken salad so much that I have a hard time branching out! Worth the trip!

I was looking for bakeries in town and I came across Puri's Bakery and I ordered a strawberry tart.It was alright but I was wondering where the real flavor was. Maybe the strawberries were supposed to be sour and the custard was supposed to be lacking on the sweet side. Overall it wasn't bad it was just missing the WOW factor. For the price, you're better off buying a pie at Kroger. Sorry :(

I love fresh raspberries on multi-layered cake with chocolate ganache. but I had eaten so much of the Indian fresh hot bread and rice and yogurt and vegetable plate that Puri owners gave me, I just couldn't do it. Well, maybe just a bite. I'd take the rest home. Somehow. But somehow, bit by bite, as I chatted with bakery owners, I kept savoring each tiny bite of cream filling and cake and chocolate until . . I ate it all. And then I almost couldn't leave. I was just that full. And happy. I just wanted to roll in a corner and stay there all night. Maybe if they left me there I could just sleep it off . . but alas, I had to go home and just talk about why I didn't bring anything home for my poor sick child. At least I can get my Indian food fix with no problem now! Awesome place, wifi, quiet, clean, no twangy Indian music, just great food, awesome service, great prices. They will literally make you what you want . . . from what's the specials of the day. can't wait to go back tomorrow!
