Poor Experience, 5/18/2013

PuroClean was called after we experienced water damage from a burst pipe. The Project Manager provided an estimate to repair the damage and appeared to be very knowledgeable and thorough,... particularly in noting that the entire popcorn ceiling would have to be scraped and re-applied in order for it to look right. We were told their "A" team would be performing the work and would take 2-3 days to finish, which meant we’d be without access to our kitchen, laundry room and main family room during that period. At the end of the first day it was obvious that only the areas of damage were being patched. We called the PM and were told “we’d be satisfied with the work”. The next day the crew showed up late, took a 1.5 hour lunch break, then “finished” up around 3:30pm. The foreman showed up for the walk through and we immediately let him know of our displeasure with the work. The ceiling patch job stood out like a sore thumb, and the rest of the drywall and painting work was sub par as well. We called the PM about our displeasure and he showed up the next morning. He noticed the poor work and offered to have it redone, but quite honestly we’d lost faith with the outfit at this point and didn’t want them in our home again. We did get a small break on the bill, but in the end were left with great disappointment with PuroClean.
