late pick up and bad service, 11/08/2010

We booked a party bus on the 12th of Oct, 2010 with 7am pickup time. I called the driver at 6:30am just to make sure he would arrive on time but when the driver picked up the phone he sounded like... he just woke up, and in fact he did just wake up. I called the company right after I hang up the phone with the driver and express my concern and after a few phone calls they told me that the bus wouldn’t arrive until 9:30. What angers me more than the delay is that the dispatch should have known that the bus will be late when the driver didn’t pick up the bus that morning. Our pick up location was in San Francisco and this charter company is located in Santa Clara, so the dispatch should have plenty of time to get another driver for us or at least call me and let me know of the delay. This is a total incompetence on the part of the company and very poor customer service. I’ve call the company and talked to their manager Art and sales rep John several times after this incident and have not heard back from any of them. This company is anything but “Quality Assurance”. I suggest anyone who is thinking about chartering a bus to STAY AWAY from this company.
