Quality Home Child Care

Our daughter started going to Ms. ellen and Mr. Rogers when she was 11 weeks old. We cannot say enough good things about them. They treated our daughter as if she was their own. They are caring, responsible, and very knowledgeable about child development.

I have twins that are in elementary school now and began going to Miss Ellen and Roger's when they were one year old. I was a stay at home mom then and just needed a break a couple days a week. My children had never been in daycare before and adjusted immediately to being there. I was initially unsure how I felt about a male doing childcare,then I saw what Roger added in a male's role and the benefits are immeasurable. Both Ellen and Roger have an innate ability to deal with children of all ages. When they are out of school now for holidays and during the summer, they still ask to go to Miss Ellen and Roger's house. I often call Ellen for advice about my children. I told them I would be happy to email or speak to anyone as a reference. Believe what you read in these reviews, you will not find two people who are better with children then they are and that will have a long lasting positive influence on your children.

Ms. Ellen asked me to write a review on here for her and I was so happy to do that for her. I am graduating from college and used to go to her home for child care when I was little for several years, therefore I have first hand knowledge of what kind of people she and Roger are. Going to her home gave me a sense of love and security that I would have never received in a center atmosphere. I feel like I make better choices as an adult because of my relationship with Ms. Ellen and Roger. She encouraged me to pursue an interest in math and science since I was 7 years old, although she would have preferred I attended Georgia Tech. I would not be where I am right now if it were not for them. I would encourage anyone seeking child care to look at this option before sending your child to a daycare center.

We feel so lucky to have found such WONDERFUL care for our boys here. Now 5 and 3, both have been with Ellen and Roger since they were 3 months old. They are like family to us. As infants, it was invaluable for us to know they were being cared for based on what they needed each day while maintaining their schedule. Now that they are older, we continue to rely on the individual approach that they have maintained with each of our children. They provide a wonderful, loving, environment full of social interaction yet personal enough for each child to feel "at home" and free to be themselves vs. feeling like they have to be in a class all day. Some how they manage to provide age appropriate challenges to each child that keep them growing and learning each day. In a home of 2 working parents, we would have never made it without them!
