Don't be fooled by the price. I decided to work with this company because they under quoted eeryone else I talked to. I should have known right then that I was in for a disaster. The movers are nice and the call center people are too. They just don't have any real authority. The guy in charge, Al, is the real problem. He's rude and acts like he's doing you some kind of favor by taking your money. My balance would go up with out warning and when I asked for an explanation, I got the run around from Al. When the dust finally settled on my interaction with them, I ended up paying 2 and a half times what I was originally quotde. But by that point I was just glad to get my stuff. Which, come to think of it, may have been Al's plan all along.

Quick Trip Moving sent movers who didn't speak English and roughly loaded my furniture into a rental truck (like a U-Haul), damaging several things. They are a small company and only have 1 truck according to the GA PUblic Commission. QuickTrip moved my stuff in GA and tacked on *** A LOT MORE MONEY*** to my bill and there was nothing I could do about it because they had my furniture hostage. Said my things would be auctioned off unless I paid them. Completely overcharged from the original estimate and they broke verbal promises over and over again. Be really careful about anything they say that is not written in the contract. Look at other sites like Ripoff Report and Movingscam.com for peolple's experiences with them. The Better Businesss Bureu site gives them an UNSATISFACTORY ranking. Wish I never had to deal with them in the first place and saw reports here on them. DOT #1246490. Do research on the net and look at other companies also owned by Mr. Levy and Mr. Tal and you will see what they have done to people.

My experience with QuickTrip Movers, Inc. based in Norcross, GA was awful. They deserve an "F". Reasons include: - Adding hundreds of dollars for numerous inappropriate charges to the final bill - Failing to provide a weight certificate as promised, even though weight was a factor in the total price - Charging us for an additional month of storage, despite the written agreement stating the first month was free - Doubling storage fees with less than two weeks warning - Blatantly ignoring parts of the contractual agreement - Rough handling of items that resulted in damage - Omitting numerous pieces of furniture from the inventory list There were other issues and hassles. This was an awful moving experience.

While emptying my attic, a Quick Trip worker stepped through the attic floor punching a hole through the ceiling of the bedroom below. He then locked the bedroom door to hide the damage. The repairs cost $545.00. Quick Trip has offered only $125.00. In addition to the ceiling, several figurines were broken, a collectable knife and a hand truck were stolen, lamp shades crushed, suits and dress shirts which should have been hung on rods in wardrobe boxes were thrown into the bottom of the box wrinkling everything, and a metal file cabinent bent so the drawers no longer open. Several workers (in particular the claims handler) were rude. I also experienced them holding my household goods hostage in their truck until final payment was made. They were a day late with delivery forcing us to sleep on the floor in our new house. This is no doubt the worst experience I have ever had using any service providing company.

The appointment w/ Quick Trip Movers was for 3 men at $89/hr with no additional fees,3 hr minimum. they showed up late with a 4th guy and changed the rate to 99$/hr. MADE us sign the paperwork and pay BEFORE they unloading (THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED AFTER UNLOADING). While the main guy was pointing where to sign and not explaining the paperwork and took the payment (cash, check or money order)his men, who did not speak english, SAT IN THE TRUCK and the clock was ticking. Since we were already past our 3 hr minimum we just had them unload everything into the living room. Instead of helping out, to speed things along, the main guy stood around a lot chatting us up (with an accent), explaining how much $ he was saving us. After unloading they leave no good-bye or anything. We start to unpack as soon as they were gone, I find that in a box ,clearly marked FRAGILE, 2 of my collectible statues are broken, parts of them shattered. We filed an insurance claim with them, since we signed a paper saying we were covered up to $300, and they have denied it due to paperwork that was signed saying our stuff was recieved in a good condition, mind you it was signed BEFORE the truck was unloaded and not explained plus are they suppose to stay there until we unpack? Also record shows we paid $396 but the main guy charged us closer to $480 saying the extra charges were for our big tv and someting else. Was only given a copy of the insurance form. Had a great time using this company. Will use again. Quality service... Got my suplies to the location of desire. In addition, the prices were very affordable. Will use again!

Quick Trip Movers was the worst moving experience EVER. Not only were they 3 days late, they held my personal belongings RANSOM until I forked over an additional $300 in cash!! During the move all movers got in a fight since the head guy threatened not to pay them, and then 2 left, so I was left with only 2 people which made it take hours to get my stuff moved in. Lastly, I didnt feel safe with the personnel.
