I'm stuck in a situation where I am unable to afford a full A/C system replacement at this time. After a professional examination, replacement of the capacitor and contactor, the compressor is seized... and requires replacement. The refrigerant lines are still sealed and pressurized, not leaking. // I asked, in a technically detailed mail, whether RS Andrews would be able/willing to do solely a compressor replacement (whether the unit is bought through them or via wholesale; I have the exact drop-in replacement part number) so that the R-22 legacy refrigerant could be handled and sealed properly. I explicitly stated that I did not need the work warranted, and was willing to pay standard labor rates up front. // I was very clear that it was impossible for me to replace the complete unit at this time, but that I would be able to replace the whole system in the upcoming winter. // No technician was consulted about my request. I was told that an $89 service call would be required before they could say anything about what work they would be willing to do. Not even a "maybe". // I've already been through runaround with two other companies who flatly refused to replace just the compressor, even though *both* admitted that it was the only problem component with the system. I'm not about to pay for yet another a service call just to be told that the company is unwilling to replace a compressor, and that they would require me to replace the complete A/C system unconditionally.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I had a AC unit stop working on Sunday. Even though I wasn't on a Maintenance Plan they sent someone over first thing Monday morning. It seems you will always get sound quality service and performance from RS Andrews, whether plumbing, HVAC or something else. It has never seemed to waiver in all of the times I have used them. I don't believe they are the most competitive, but I suspect that probably is a reason why you can count on them getting the job done.

My furnace had a bad inducer motor. The tech recommended I replace my entire system, including ac evaporator and condenser units. He gave a quote of $800 for the replacement of the inducer and $6000 for a new system. My ac is working great, no need to replace, and I found a company that replaced the inducer motor for $300. These guys just want to sell new systems and are not interested in giving a fair price for repairs. Not trustworthy!
It is our position that our technician did the proper diagnosis of the system. We do not replace “motors only” on any inducer assembly on older furnaces. We quote to replace the entire inducer assembly. This will include the motor, inducer fan, inducer housing and new gaskets. The best way to eliminate any future problems is with the entire assembly being replaced, which is what most customers would prefer to do. This helps eliminate a call back, have a reliable part installed with a great warranty. There are many companies that will give quotes over the phone. How can anyone properly diagnosis a system over the phone or know the complete repair needed without inspecting the furnace..? As you may know, parts are available on the internet at far less than our repair quotes. We are a service company not a wholesale distributor. There is more that goes into pricing repairs than just the part. Our pricing in in line with all major HVAC service companies in the Atlanta Area.
The option of a system replacement was given. Our techs are trained to offer the repair option first. If the repair is substantial on older systems, we want the customer to have all options available to them. Our technicians simply ask the customer the following: Do you want to put that much money into your old system? If the customer wants the repair then we put the part on. If they want options we will quote them at that time. We take the approach of providing our customers with the information they need so they can make informed decisions.

Great company! Called yesterday and scheduled me for an afternoon appointment the next day. They even called to see if the morning would work better for my schedule. Repaired my heating issue quickly. Very happy with the price. Repairman was very professional and polite. I highly recommend using this company, and will do so myself in the future.
I had water leaking from my water heater. RS Andrews came out to fix the issue. My water heater was 13 years old so we ended up replacing it. I also had a new toilet installed. The plumber was excellent. I called around and pricing was fair. Very satisfied. They did a great job!
My furnace stopped working and I called RS Andrews. They were able to get me scheduled the same day later in the afternoon! The technician was able to get the issue fixed, he also cleaned my system and replaced my filters. Only a few hundred dollars. I have an older system, so it was great that he was able to get the system working again without breaking the bank. Thanks RS Andrews for a excellent job and getting my house warm!
RS Andrews saved the day. Right before the holidays, we had water leaking from the ceiling in our living room. The plumber, Brian, was able to determine the water was leaking from our toilet upstairs in the master bathroom. A few hours later and we were good to go! RS Andrews recently installed a new furnace. The installation crew did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I have been having some issues with a mini-split system not cooling properly in my house. A few companies have been out but haven't been able to diagnose the problem. That was until RS Andrews came. They were able to get the issue isolated to the circuit board which I had replaced. System works great now! Their technician was extremely knowledgable and professional. I will definitely be using RS Andrews for my future HVAC needs.

I have a handful of rental properties and started using RS Andrews to help with the maintenance for the past 3 years. They have far exceeded my expectations from when I first started using them and were much better than the previous company. There technicians are extremely skilled and know what they are doing. They have always been able to diagnose the problem and fix it. What I really like about their techs is that they answer all my questions, explain everything so I understand whats going on and the situation, and then give me my options so I can make informed decisions. I feel like they are a true partner with me to help manage my properties and I truly appreciate it!

One word... Excellent!! Friendly professional employees -- From initial service visit, to the sales person (Tommy), to the installation crew. Everything went smooth and the system was well installed. I'm a very picky person when it comes to things being clean and neat. When the install technicians left my home, I couldn't find a single thing to clean up. That says a lot.
