I recently purchased two speaker stands. They have a \rlarger footprint than what's popular today but because I had already purchased a pair of Polk Audio bookshelf speakers I needed something more substantial. They're well made for the price and to look at them you'd think the speaker and stand were made by the same manufacturer. The customer agent had to order them and as promised they arrived on time. I picked them up at their store and within minutes I had my stands. It was the simplest and smoothest purchase I've made in a very long time. I do alot of my shopping at R.C. Willey because of become accustomed to their excellent customer service knowledge base. It's a white glove treatment from start to finish.

If you're looking to furnish your home with great stuff at good prices, then RC Willey is for you. Stay away from their home electronics department. They'll pound you for the Extended Warranty, overpriced cables ($100 for an HDMI cable that costs $4 at Amazon) and they wanted to charge us $900 to install a Plasma TV...just the TV, no speakers or stereo.

I purchased a Serta king size mattress set. The morning I purchased it, I ask the salesman twice how soon can they deliver the bed and he told me he would have it delivered between 3:00 - 4:00pm the same day and the delivery department would give me a call at that time to confirm the delivery. Well 4:00pm came and gone no call! I call customer service and they told me that they have my delivery schedule between 7-10pm that night and they would call the delivery driver to confirm that time and he will also call me to confirm as well. The driver did call around 4:43 pm and told me that I'm schedule as #8 drop off on his delivery route and it would be around a 11:00 pm delivery! Keep in mind I paid cash for the mattress set. Also I had sat around in an empty house on a cardboard box all day with no furniture, no running water, and no heat. So after the run around by customer service I canceled the order over the phone and drove back the store where I bought the mattress set and requested a refund. The final issue that really took the cake was the fact there were 2 women in customer service trying to reimburse my debit card and either one could not figure out how to void the charges and refund my debit card! So I was at the customer service desk for 30 minutes waiting for them to figure it out! Strong recommendations don't not waste your time and money at this store. They don't have the best prices! I found the same mattress set at another store for $400.00 less!

We went looking for a crib for my first daughter there, and they ignored us. We were never even talked to by any one in the store. I refuse to even go back there to look for anything. I also know someelse that had a horrible experience. They had things come broken and missing.

Why I keep returning to this place is beyond me - most likely because it's the only furn. store a mile away from my house. I've been there a half a dozen times now and each time, my experience is about the same. 1. Sales people are annoying. If you tell them you are just browsing and don't need help, they will continue following you and trying to push merchandise. 2. I decided to buy something. I get slip from salesperson. Take it to counter where I pay for it. I wait. Wait some more. There are 5 free people behind the counter. They see me, and I wave at them, but they don't come. Don't they want to sell me stuff? This is happened twice now. After 5 mins of waiting, i just crumble up the sales slip and toss it on the counter and leave. 3. My girl ordered a bed. They come and put it together, missing a vital piece so we can't sleep on it. She calls not too long after they leave and they say they will have to order it and it would take a few days to get. Back to sleeping on the floor in our new home. 4. They are like car salesmen. When replacing a boxframe, they told me $350. I said "noway - I paid $100 for it the firs time." They kept lowering the price until they settled on $145. This makes me not really want to buy anything again since I don't feel like haggling and now I know that the sticker price isn't the lowest price I can get. The only good about this RC is they have a decent selection, and sometimes their clearance items are cheap.
