We've used RPM for over ten years now. These guys are true professionals who know and CARE about trees. Perry, in particular, knows just about everything there is about trees, and he will gladly let you know what to cut, when to cut, when not to cut, how to cut, and, most importantly, what NOT to cut. He'll let you know which trees (if any) need to come down, which ones just need a little pruning, and which ones to leave alone. He'll also patiently explain to you any pruning that you can do yourself if you've got a tree that requires particular care. Perry would rather lose money in the short run by letting you know how to save a tree instead of cutting it down because he knows that in the long run you will trust his judgment when some trees definitely need to come down. Their prices are very reasonable. They clean the place well after their work is done. We can't recommend them highly enough.

I had two storm-damaged trees and seven others (pine & hardwoods of various sizes) that needed removal, plus limbing-up of two large hardwoods. I got multiple quotes that ranged between $2300 and $5500 for the work, but selected RPM's $3k quote. The price quote was reasonable, but I was also influenced significantly by Wes's commitment to protecting our lawn in the process. All the other vendors were planning on using heavy equipment as part of the removal process (bobcats, etc.), but RPM proposed the entire removal by hand in order to protect our landscaping. Mind you, all but two of the trees were in our back yard, which created significant areas to be traversed and potentially damaged, regardless of the care taken in putting down plywood sheeting. I've seen this method used in the past, and not always with the best results. I'm pleased to say, the job is complete and my zoysia is as pristine as the day before RPM started. Excellent work, guys!

This is the second time I have had to have the team back to my property for dead/fallen tree removal. They are the best. Quickly responded to my call, got me on the calendar fast and kept their commitment to be at my place. They had a big job removing two very large trees next to my house and my pool that were dying and dangerous to my house/pool. They arrived on time and got right to work. They are professional in every respect. They work hard all day, get the work done that you asked for and when they leave there is no sign they were even here. These are the folks you need to call to take care of your tree removal problems!

RPM is an excellent tree service company. Perry (one of the owners) is a certified arborist who is down to earth, very friendly and genuinely cares about his customers and employees. From the receptionist to the entire crew that came for my job, there was top notch service. They did a great job with not only the tree removals (and the trees were in very precarious locations), but also in cleanup and follow up after the job. We were extremely satisfied and would definitely use them again.

Wesley and his crew were truly impressive. The power company came by with a bucket truck first to trim the branches of a very large tree over the power lines. They went as high as they could go but couldn't get them all. RPM worked flawlessly and were very quick. Each cut was done with precision. The other tree had large branches over the house. No problem for them, they roped everything. Talk about a profession where something could easily go wrong, but never did. Their experience definitely showed. Price was the best out there. No one could touch it and some didn't even want to do it. I did request the wood was left on site as is, as well as the stump. I will use it for heating. When needed again, I won't hesitate to contact RPM. I have already recommended them to everyone who had inquired about this job!

showed up a bit later than planned but wasn't a big deal; they did what they were asked to do, efficiently and accurately. Cleaned up very well; crew was supervised and courteous. we appreciated their recommendations and knowledge so we didn't "overdue" trimming and possibly harm our trees. we will definitely hire then again.

Perry and his team did outstanding work for us last week. As an arborist, Perry isn't looking to cut down everything in sight, like other companies. The team was on time (actually early) and cleaned up great afterwards. Thank you!

One of the things that most pleased me was Perry's professionalism. He came by promptly to give us a quote, and it was upfront, fair and easy to understand. Also, Perry is a certified arborist who gave us advice on which trees to cut, which to trim, etc. That was so helpful! We had 12 trees taken out, 5 which were very large, including one right by our house. In a job this big, there are bound to be some nicks and scraps to the surrounding areas, but nothing major. Crew arrived on time and were personable. Being somewhat of a perfectionist, my bottom line is always, would I invite this company back on my property again, and the answer for RPM is yes! Definitely recommend them and will call them for my future needs.

Not only did Perry send out his team faster than anyone else could do, but I didn't have to drive 40 miles RT to show him what to do, which is what the other companies all wanted me to do. His crew did the work quickly and left NO mess! I can finally see my house from the street, and there are no dead branches, and the trees look great. His price was less than most of the others quoted, and they all needed more lead time to come out. I'm super pleased.

I'm posting here the same review I posted on Angie's List. Work performed ($1,300): Provided estimate to remove red oak and poplar trees between my house and my neighbor's. Both trees about the same size: ~24" diameter and 35' tall. Completed removal of both trees and cleaned debris. No damages to my house or my neighbor's, although the distance between both houses' air-conditioners is about 15'. Excellent work! Perry called me the day before to remind me of the appointment and said when to expect the crew. A crew of 3 men arrived promptly at 8:00 am and completed work by noon the same day. Perry came with the crew at 8:00 am to tell the men what was to be done and showed them which trees. Although I told them I didn't care if they damaged some large redtip bushes in the process, they said they'd be very deliberate to only remove branches that impeded their work and would not damage the bushes. There was absolutely no damage to the bushes or the houses or to the yards. No heavy machinery (e.g. bobcats) was driven on the lawns. Perry did an excellent job in communicating and delivering. His team worked continuously, safely and expeditiously. I am so pleased, I would highly recommend them. His office staff is equally courteous and pleasant to speak to. My standards for professionalism are high and I gladly give RPM Tree Service, Inc. and A+!!! I have recommended RPM Tree Service to the 250 residents of Arbor Bridge subdivision in Marietta, GA.

I have used RPM 5-6 times and they are always on time and do a great job. They take care of your property and leave it like they've never been there except for a few missing trees. Any time I have any tree work to be done, RPM is my first call.

We've used RPM tree service for over 18 years and would not use anyone else. They've removed numerous trees and each time the crew is respectful, on time and clean up all debris from the tree removal. Their prices are more expensive, however I learned you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend them.

Met Wayne Lankster and Heath Lane at a gas station and they handed me an RPM business card in mid November. After numerous ignored phone calls Wayne and Heath finally showed up bright and early December 4th. Everything seemed fine. They cut down our 3 unwanted river birch trees. They cleaned up and made it look like they weren't even here all except for the 3 stumps they left behind. They said someone would show the following week to remove the stumps. Long story short, it's now January 7 and I still have the 3 stumps in my yard and a letter from my HOA threatening me. I called Wayne earlier this week, heard him pick up his phone, then he hung up. Called him back and of course I got the voicemail. I should have known not to expect any more service when Wayne had me write the check out to Lance. Don't do business with this horrible company.

I don't know what business card Wayne Lankster and Heath Lane handed you. We have two full-time secretaries in our office and we do not miss calls. We also have an answering service after business hours so we can be reached 24/7. Neither Wayne Lankster or Heath Lane work for our company. The day you claim that RPM Tree Service performed work for you was December 4, 2011. RPM Tree Service has been in business for almost 20 years now, and we have never performed work on a Sunday. RPM Tree Service does not have any record of performing work on this claimed day. As you can see from our BBB ratings, Angie's List reviews, as well as, Kudzu reports, this is not something that RPM Tree Service would have done. We are curious about this incident, and therefore, would like more information so we can pursue legal action for misrepresentation. If you received an RPM Tree Service business card, then our direct office phone number would be the only number supplied on the front. Not once do I believe you have tried to contact our company, as we do return all phone calls pertaining to our representation as a licensed, A+ rated company. Sincerely, Perry Bell, Owner
I selected RPM based on one referral, my Dad. He has used RPM on a couple of occasions. Sorry Kudzu but I consider him a better authority. I received some helpful pruning advice in the process of Lance giving me an estimate on cutting down some trees. They showed up late BUT they called me. They were late on getting the stumps ground down BUT very apologetically responded to get the job finished. I would give them five stars but they rubbed the root of another tree while doing their work. No worries - I can honestly say that I will use them again.

We had RPM come out to our house to give us an estimate on a job- we wanted to trees removed. Lance talked to us about why we wanted to remove the trees and spent some time walking around our yard giving us advice on other things we could do to improve the health of our other trees. He offered to prune two cherry trees at no additional charge if we used him for our tree removal. We liked him enough that we booked him for the job even though he didn't have the most competitive rate (although he was very close). When his 8am Monday morning appointment rolled around he was nowhere to be found and he wasn't answering his phone. Two hours later he left a voicemail saying something had come up and he wasn't sure if he could fit us in that week. We canceled and went with someone else. Like RPM, they were certified arborists. Unlike RPM, they showed up up and did the job, and did it for less than RPM quoted us. I assume the work RPM does is good based on other reviews, but I didn't get a chance to find out since the communication on their end was poor enough that we felt we had to go with someone else to make sure the job got done. If we have the need for a tree removal service in the future I wouldn't be opposed to giving them another chance.

bpwright, I sincerely regret our failing. We had a substantial issue arise that day that distracted my attention from our most important goal, total client satisfaction. Thank you for speaking with me this morning and helping me understand how we can help avoid these events in the future. We look forward to a future opportunity to make good and become your "go to" tree service. Sincerely, Lance Frazier, Certified Arborist.
