you'd be crazy to do business with these people!!!
Most unprofessional company I have ever come across. I allowed these people into my home because i was interested in a water system. They were so unprofessional and once I was starting to catch them in lies( their sales pitch was not matching up bc i did a lot of research on systems) I decided to withdraw from it, the guy got pist, insulted and threatened us, stormed out of my house and proceeded to drive halfway over my lawn!!!! I couldnt believe it, please do yourself a favor and NEVER allow rainsoft people into your home!

Totally Unethical Ownership
They sent 2 men to perform the annual tank service at a charge of $110. They weren't even Rainsoft employees. Instead of dumping the residual salt water from the tank onto the concrete in the street, they dumped all that salt water on my flowerbeds and killed my flowers and a 14 year old mature holly. The owner acknowledged the servicemen admitted doing it but refused to give us our $110 back for the service and instead we had to pull teeth to get $90 for "inconvenience" which didn't even cover the cost of the water bill trying to save the tree. He said he'd replace the tree in the spring but refused to return any calls or faxes when we demanded action. We called the main headquarters and they could seem to care less. This company and its owner deserves to be exposed on the local news by a consumer reporter.

Absolutely Awful Service
Initially a completely unprofessional worker would show up randomly to do checks and charge us a $95 each time unless we purchased salt for $95.
I could never get a straight answer about our service contract or anything else for that matter.
After his October '08 visit our water softener stopped working, and $125, 4 phone calls and one visit by an absolutely filthy serviceman later I still have a nonworking system. They refuse to take responsibility for their actions or mistakes and the poor customer service will cost them more business than mine. I've since met 4 other homes that have stopped doing business w/ them.
This system was in place when we purchased the home, because based on Rainsoft reviews I never would have signed up for the scam.
