Could Be Better, 6/28/2009

I've been fishing for about a year now and everywhere I fish at I catch something within an hour. I was at Rainbow Lakes for ten hours beginning at eight pm til four pm. I didn't catch a thing... nothing even took my bait. That should tell you that either fishing is harder than it seems or they are not stocking the lake as they should. They were very helpful in what type of bait works best in the field and what type of pole I should use but what they advised wasn't good for their lakes!!!

horrible, go elsewhere., 6/17/2009

This used to be a great place. Since the new owners took over it is more stressful to deal with them than it is to go to work. I refuse to go back to a place where my recreational time is ruined by... staff. The new owners also do not stock as much or as frequently. The fishing has gone way down hill. You are better off fishing elsewhere.

boy have they changed

rainbow was a very nice place to fish until 2007 when the new onwers took over.i have been fishing there for over 25 years and always did well but the way the onwers son treats people is very poorly and is very rude to everyone.i will not return nore anyone I know until the onwer fires his son or puts rainbow up for sale to someone who knows how to treat people...if i want to to go somewhere they treat u like ur in a prison yard ill just go to prison....
