Boy this place is bad! I took my car in because a light came on, they took a look, charged me $100, but couldn't fix it. When I came to pickup my car, the owner was driving it! I waited 10 minutes for him to return, said he "just wanted to see which light was on". He had added 25 miles to my car and I lost 1/4 tank of gas!!! And he has a BBB sticker in the window that expired in 2009! Will never go back and will tell everyone not so as well!!! He gives honest repair shops a bad name!

A shady business man = WORST service ever. I initially took my car in on a spur of a moment for a smog test not knowing anything about this business. After the smog test was completed, I was given the run around that I failed my smog test and I needed to have the repairs done there. When I asked the man how much it would be to re-test the car after I had 'my' mechanic repair the vehicle, the bull$hit started pouring out of his mouth... 'you have to repair your vehicle here,''your car failed but I tested it a different way,''only a smog tech can do the repairs, & I don't know if your mechanic is a qualified smog technician like I am'. I've had issues with my car's smog before, however, I've also been to places that will re-test for a certain amount. What I don't understand is how this so called business man lists on his menu of repairs a $30 charge for a re-test for smog but tells his customers he only re-tests if the repairs are done there. And what other way does he test the vehicle that makes his way more effective? In all of this, I have to say that I went to my mechanic who resolved the issue for $250 and I found another trustworthy business who re-tests the car for free if you fail your smog test! There's so many more businesses out there who does HONEST business unlike this one. Rancho Auto is BAD for any business, avoid at all costs!!!

I went in there for an alignment and when I returned for the car they told me that the camber was not adjustable. I know it is. I had gone to Sears and they had done it for the same price. I demanded them to adjust the camber or give me my money back. they refused and told me I had only authorized "an alignment check and toe setting only". bad bad service. just find somewhere else better to fix your car and spare yourself the frustration and money.

Our car needed new tires, an oil change, and new brakes. This was the only place that would do everything and they did it all the same day without an appointment. They also told us that despite what the dealership had told us about needing new rotors for our brakes, that we actually didn't need them. So we ended up saving money. Excellent service and I will definitely go back.
