Randy's Smokehouse

Just served Randy's chopped beef at a party and the crowd loved it. Ordered by phone from Randy and found him to be very helpful and courteous. Ordered chopped beef by the pound which I then served from a crockpot so my guests could make their own sandwiches. Will definitely order from Randy's again. Great price, too!

I was in the mood for BBQ and decided to try Randy's. Wrong MOVE! When I entered the establishment the staff wasn't very friendly. I had called ahead to have my food ready for me and when I got there, they didn't take the order down and I had to reorder everything. Then the guy helping wasn't a help at all. I wanted a half lb chop beef and he kept asking if I wanted 2 lbs. Then I asked for a couple more pieces of bread and the guy kept telling me I didn't need it and it was too much bread. After I got the food back home, it was VERY bland and oily. I NEVER want to see chop beef look like this again. A ball of beef surrounded by oil. NOTHING BUT RED OIL! I didn't even want to call to get my money back. So I guess to conclude, don't go to Randy's! The staff is rude, very opinionated, and completely will ruin your day!

Nothing special about this place. The ribs tasted like ham. No flavoring and dry. The chopped beef was the same no flavor and dry. The mashed potato obviously came from a Sysco box. The coleslaw was horrible, the beans must have been made in 5 minutes. The sauce was all starch.Nothing had a smokey flavor. If this people have a smoker I'll need to see it to believe it.Too many corners cut. This people should go out and try their competition and try again. If you want Good BBQ go to Joe's in Alvin or Central BBQ by Hobby airport. Even Pappa's is better!

Today was my first time coming here for lunch and i will definently return! They had good customer service and delicious food! The sauce was so good and beef was just right. I will be going back very soon.
