In my opinion, Dr. Rashid typifies all the characteristics one would want from a physician. He is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and caring. I also appreciate a medical practice in which preventive medicine is valued.

My wife and I discovered Dr. Rashid five years ago and have been seeing him since. He is an excellent physician and has helped us through some rocky times. I recommend him without reservation. He is very quiet, and that might seem "distant" to some ... don't let it fool you. He is warm and caring.

I have been seeing Dr. Rashid for over 10 years and have always found him to be very thorough and direct. When needed, he quickly refers me to the respective specialist. I highly recommend Dr. Rashid.

Three and a half years ago I went to see Dr. Rashid for the first time with symptoms I had no idea how serious they were. Thanks to his expertise and quick actions, I was soon diagnosed with a blood cancer and started treatment shortly thereafter at Duke. I still see him at least once a year and will hopefully have him as our family primary care physician for a very long time.

I wish I had the good luck of the other poster, but I've been to Dr. Rashid twice. Once for a routine physical, once for an appointment to address my severe cough. Both times I found him to be distant and he didn't ask many questions. I didn't mind it during the physical, but for my sick appointment, he spend a total of 2.5 minutes in the room with me. He simply confirmed the symptoms I'd described to the nurse, wrote a prescription for an antibiotic (brand name instead of generic as I'd requested) and was out the door without so much as a "have a nice day". I didn't even know the appointment was done. My symptoms were pretty much textbook for a mild case of the flu (which after a second opinion it was revealed to be). I have a child at home and was mostly in to find out what I had (he never gave a name to my illness) and how to avoid passing it along. I will not be visiting him again and would have a hard time recommending him to anyone else. The office staff is average (except the checkout lady who is abrupt and borderline rude). I get the impression this practice is primarily focused on weight management and is not a good family practice option. Oh yeah, they lost my lab data from the annual physical and I had to make several calls four months later to remind them I hadn't ever received the info or a call from the doctor explaining the results. I had to then research and remind them which lab they'd sent me to so they could track down my results.

Dr. Inam Rashid is great! Every time i visit him he remembers me and my last visit. The service there is also excellent and i really trust his practice. The office is very neat and clean and is very close to my home.
