Rayco was hired to paint our four-storey, 55 unit condominium building. A "crew" of two men showed up. It's been 2-1/2 weeks and we aren't even half way. I've never seen anything so ill planned. The managers who come out to review the site and make a quote act professional, but that's where any professionalism ends. They haven't been close to the schedule they provided. They haven't even been close to their revised schedule. What a disappointment. We've now had scaffolding over the front of the building for three weeks. The front was the first section to be done, and yet there is no sign of the scaffolding coming down. It's awful. I'd never recommend this company.

I just moved to the area, needed the whole interior painted. I had a few bids put together and ultimately picked Rayco. Price was on par with everyone else I spoke to, but their service was much better. Everything looks great. Will contact them again when I decide to do the exterior.
I inherited a house from my mother who passed away a few years and I hadn't gotten around to getting it ready to sell yet. I decided that before placing the house on the market it would need a full makeover to get good value. I called a few companies to come out to give me estimates. Rayco had a good reputation, a fair price, and the work completed looks nothing short of amazing. In about a week and a half they did a complete overhaul of the interior and exterior. Baseboards, crown molding, walls, and dry rot removal. I won't ever go online looking for a painting company again. 5 stars across the board. Communication was great, Crew was reliable and answered all my questions, they even helped me pick out colors. Thanks Rayco!!!
This review is on behalf of my client and as well as my experience with Rayco Painting. Last year, my client had a "not-so-good" experience with the painters she hired on for the job on her 3 story home in Berkeley. Multiple crews took turns on the job, and it wasn't done to her satisfaction. This is when we called in a bunch of different painting companies, and did about 4-5 different consultations. A couple of companies said that the job was too messy for them to take on. Only 2 companies were willing to take on the job, with Tayco being one of them. She was definitely impressed by the estimator and his professionalism. Because she had communication issues with the previous company, Gabe, the owner also came out to make sure that expectations were set right. My client kept in constant contact with me during, as well as after the job. She was extremely happy with Rayco's work, and finally getting the overdue project completed under the estimated time.
I haven't had my house painted in years and the detailed walk-around with the sales representative answered all my questions and even showed me things that I never saw on my home. The communication was great and I had no problems from beginning to end. I am recommending Rayco to all my friends and family.

In Palo Alto, there are many choices for painters, and we had many recommendations from neighbors. We found Rayco on Google when searching for them. Aaron was the estimator who came out to our home. He made a great first impression by walking around the home with us in detail showing us all of the paint deficiencies around. This approach was welcome because a one of the other painters didnt even walk around the home before giving us a bid. Glad to say, i threw that bid out. When we chose Rayco, there price was right in the middle and we knew we were in good hands with them. The work was seamless and went smoothly outside of a few touchups. If I can make one recommendation, make sure to get colors chosen ahead of time. I waited till last miunte and there was some added stress on the first day of project choosing a trim color. Aaron and Al worked through it and in the end the house could not look any better. Overall I will recommend Rayco Painting as our painting contractor to our neighbors and friends.

I grew out f painting my own place when I left college not because of the money but because I couldn't stand to look at my bad job. Any way hired these guys and they were great. They were first to call back and they got my business. And after all was said and done I had great looking paint job.

Rayco provided me with a quality exterior paint job at a fair price. Gabe and his team was detail oriented, friendly, responsive, timely and clean. They were very respectfull of mylandscaping and personal property, a huge plus! They had excellent follow up on a few touch up items which were taken care of immediately. Initially I had selected another vendor from your site based on volume of positive reviews but when that guy was a no show without calling x4 days I called Gabe at Rayco Painting - he met their price and was preping and doing needed carpentry work prior to painting my home THE VERY NEXT WEEK because he knew I had a schedule to keep. Awesome service.
