The service left quite a bit to be desired. Routinely, the waitress had to be tracked down to fill our drinks, and the restaurant was quite empty. There was a fly buzzing around the table. I can understand that in spring, summer, or fall, but in the dead of winter?? When I said something to the waitress about the fly, she just shrugged like it wasn't her problem. We had to ask for bread and butter. The crab bisque was more like a stew minus the chunks. This was not just my opinion, the other person in our party that ordered it said, "Yuk" on the first spoonful. It was so thick, we could have done one of the Dairy Queen moves and turned the bowl upside down!! The trout was dry and the portion was EXTREMELY small. It wasn't even both filets, there was just the one side of the fish. We spoke to the manager, a very personable, but thoroughly useless man. On a positive note, the blue cheese dressing on the salad was very good. Overall, the entire party felt very ripped off, and we won't be back.

We had not been to Ray's since the remodel, and wow! it looks great. We had a fantastic meal with a great server, and wonderful ambience. The food is phenomenal, especially the Oysters Rockefeller. Our server was so thoughtful - he knew it was our anniversary, so he had the pastry chef create a beautifully presented and delicious dessert. Can't say enough good things about Ray's!
