HP DV9000 blank screen fix! Video problem BGA rework

Canít understand why these guys have not been getting slammed, there service is zero. Techs are talking to me like I'm the county stooge, and they are brain surgeons, insulting, I hold several... electronics degrees and have done component repair in the military and civilian world. These brain surgeons quoted 1 price for repair and now 2 months latter they canít fix it and want me to pay more!!! And Iím the dumb###. 250 words are not enough to express how bummed I am. Fixed my HP dark screen in no time at all, kept me VERY well informed through calls and emails, and the price can't be beat. I highly recommend these guys and would use them for other issues.

it was a busy friday afternoon in our shop, when our pos systems,phone line internet,and cameras systems went down, we could not process credit cards, or open our registers for an transactions,it took a reboot it technician 10 mins to figure out the problem and fix it, i was back up and running, with out losing any customers,and our corporate office was able to view the store again from a far,its nice to have techs that know the computers and programs like second nature. thank you reboot it.
I found Reboot off of Youtube, where they show how to fix the HP DV9000. These HP laptops come from the factory engineered to fail. Reboot upgraded my laptops cooling system and got the video working again like new. HP is a peace of crap and thank you Reboot for stepping up to the plate and helping the HP users that would have been DOA. You have all my business & I will refer many more.

$200+ and over a year later I still have a useless laptop. After sending Reboot IT my computer twice, waiting months beyond what I was told it would take, making numerous phone calls, sending emails (which are now being ignored) -- after all this, I am in a worse position than when I started. They supposedly installed a new fan (which now makes a loud, unbearable noise) and a motherboard (which appears to be working), but I can't get past a Windows "Hardware Error" screen. I wish they'd call be back, or at least return my money, since a year later I still have a useless HP laptop.
