We heard about Recycle Depot from a friend who does construction work and regularly brings them his debris. A quick call revealed that they are open to the public and allow people to dump construction/ demolition debris as well as clutter from garages, attics, basements, etc. for recycling. They accept branches, logs, stumps, etc. to grind into wholesale mulch and they accept concrete to grind into Item 4! Recycle Depot also rents out dumpsters and they offer weekly curb-side trash service. In preparation for a graduation/ 4th of July party, we cleared out our garage and brought Recycle Depot the clutter. We were in and out of their facility in no time and their prices were very reasonable, too! Their workers were kind enough to help us off-load the heavy chest freezer we brought and the ladies in their office were a pleasure to deal with. There is a lot of stuff going on at Recycle Depot and my two boys got a kick out of seeing all their trucks and machines in action! We have some bigger projects in mind for around the house and I think that next time we may rent a dumpster from Recycle Depot instead of breaking our backs by loading/ unloading our truck multiple times. My only "complaint" is that Recycle Depot is the best kept secret in the Hudson Valley! They don't advertise and we didn't know about them until a few days ago. It makes me wonder how much money we could have saved on getting rid of junk, trash service, and mulch in the past!

Two thumbs down. Rented a 12 yard dumpster, it was not delivered on time. On the day it was suppose to arrive I called after waiting for 2 hours (the delivery window according to them) I was told it was on the way. I asked specifically if the driver left already or was just leaving, I was told he will be there shortly. An hour later I called back because the place is an only an hour away and I was told that the driver never left because they did not know what time to drop the dumpster off. When I made the appointment I was very specific that I needed at 8AM. The dumpster arrived four and a half hours late. I had to pay contracters to stand around and do nothing. They lied about it being on the way first time I called. They said there was no delivery time on the schedule, ok mistakes happen, wouldn't a normal person see that there is a dumpster on the schedule for that day with no delivery time and call the customer....they had my phone number. Obviously they didn't even check to see if the dumpster was on the way the first time I called. They were late picking it up as well. I called 3 days in advance because I needed it removed from my property to make way for some earth moving equiptment. They told me they would pick it up on a Monday, I was out of town for a day and when I came back late Tuesday it was still there. I called the next day (wed) and they picked up 2 days later. Rude on the phone
