Professional dealings, prompt communications, gave a good quote and showed up next business day to take out three diseased pine trees. I told them to not add any expense or trouble to avoid damaging the yard, and they still left a reasonably small amount of damage - a few divots, but the cleaned up well and did very little damage to adjacent plants (and of course, no damage to the buildings!). I was a bit concerned during my research because this company has some obviously bogus reviews here on Kudzu (mostly around fall of 2012 - about 3.5 years ago) but I see no need to resort to such practice (I suspect they hired a "reputation" consultant with low scruples). They did a great job, quickly and for less than any one of the eight quotes. Only one of those eight were anywhere near as professional, and their quote was basically three times as much (they claimed they needed a crane for one of the trees - Redfern got it safely with a Cherry-picker, saving $$$). I strongly recommend them for tree removal - it still is expensive, but when you see these guys sin action, you see they earn what they charge!

I needed to have two bradford pears, a river birch, two maple trees, and an oak tree pruned. Redfern's initial quoted price for the work was identical to one of its competitors, but Redfern provided a 3.00% discount for paying in cash which broke the tie. The crew showed up on time, performed all the work as promised. They had a crew of about six guys and they completed the work in just over an hour. They were thorough in cleaning up all the branches and leaves from the yard and driveway. This is the second time I've used Redfern, and the second time they did an excellent job for me. I plan to use Redfern again in the future, and recommend them without hesitation to anyone who needs tree services.

I recently used RedFern Tree Service and can't say enough great things about this Company. The Owner/Operator Azur came out to give me a quote. He was very knowledgeable and had suggestions I had not thought of. The Crew was great, professional and quick. They showed up on time and after the Crew Lead and I went over the work to be done they immediately started. Upon removing the trees and brush we found an additional tree that couldn't be seen until they removed everything. I called the office and Katrina (the best!) was able to get Azur to have his crew lead tell him what it was and gave me a great price to remove that one also while they were there. My yard looks great and all my trees pruned up look perfect (not a chop job). I would recommend them to any family member or friend that is looking for quality work. Do your homework as there are cheaper companies out there but if you read the reviews you will see you get what you pay for. Thank you for everything Azur and Katrina!

Redfern came out to cut down our diseased trees. They removed the trees and gave us options for future planting. The y removed and grinded our tree stumps as well. We got their number from a neighbor and are very happy with the results.

After reviewing a few vendors for the removal of two trees, we selected Redfern. The owner came out and suggested dealing with those issues and cleaning up other trees that had grown messy. The team followed with all of the right equipment, tools and skills to make a potentially dangerous tree removal situation, be handled in short order. All debris was thoughtfully removed leaving the lot better than ever. The owner was there to oversee the operation and insure that all expectations were met. I highly recommend Redfern for any basic tree removal...and particularly for difficult jobs!

Quality work overall but be very, very careful about getting every detail specified in your quote. Amir is very good at making you feel comfortable about the work and then forgetting what they agreed to do. I was short changed and felt overcharged compared to other quotes I received. Their prices are too high compared to the quality of service.

Please note that it states on ALL contracts that stump grinding is not included unless specified in the contract. You were given the contract from the beginning. The tree that you're referring to was taken down free of charge (because you were referred by a family member) and did not include stump grinding. However, when you decided that you wanted to grind the stump (while the crew was there), we sent the stump grinder out. He would have been able to grind it for you but said that he could not accept responsibility for possible damages to the fence because it is old and had to be moved. You then decided not to grind the stump because we couldn't accept responsibility for the fence. I'm sorry mam, but we are not a professional fence company and couldn't accept that risk. Also, we spent a considerable amount of time at your property to remove those large dead trees by your fence-line. We even took extra care to make sure the grass was not damaged, which was also stated in your contract. If you felt that you were short changed, I would hate to see the quality of work from someone who could have done it cheaper.
We called Redfern to remove two of our trees in our front yard. Grass could not grow around the trees and it was becoming an issue with the appearance of our yard. They came out and removed the trees and added plants, shrubs and flowers. They even added some mini boulders. It's refreshing to see our yard looking so groomed again. Would use them again.

Usually I don't do reviews but in this case I have to share my experience. Had 3 large trees and 2 medium tress to remove. I am not a tree expert but I watched the guys and have to say they knew what they are doing. Also impressed with the overall experience, Azul is a good guy to work with, the crew cleaned up the yard you couldn't tell a big job had been done except for the trees missing. Next time I need a tree job done I will call Redfern again

I needed a solution to a drainage problem, a new sod lawn in the backyard, and a fence. What I got was a beautifully landscaped, new back yard, and a new cedar fence and gate. After we had some serious downpours, the swale they had built, had become a canal of standing water. After 4 or 5 days, I called them to complain, and they came back on the next clear day and corrected the problem. They also mowed and edged my front lawn at no extra charge. I will definitely be using them again.

We recently had 5 trees removed from our yard, including a huge oak that was only a few feet from our house. Rain delayed the job, but Amir kept us updated on the scheduling. There was so little mess after the removal that I joked to my husband that they must have levitated the trees off our property. I would highly recommend Redfern!

If you are looking for the best, look no more. This is the third time we have used them and they are real pros who know what they are doing. Their cleanup is so thorough that this time a neighbor came over after the job was finished and said "I thought you were have some tree work done today". Not the cheapest, but the job is done right.
