Reese Construction Company served as a subcontractor for AquaGaurd Basement Systems when I had my crawlspace encapsulated. My experience with Doug Reese's company was VERY UNPLEASANT. I paid $8K+ to have Reese Construction dig out my very shallow crawlspace. I knew that my 100-yr-old farmhouse would present challenges, but instead of rising to the occasion, Mr. Reese held them against me. Soon after the contract was signed THE PROBLEMS BEGAN: Mr. Reese constantly complained about how difficult the job was, cancelled several workdays because of broken equipment, started avoiding me when I had questions/concerns (he literally hopped in his truck and drove away when he saw me return home), went on 'strike' while demanding more money - BUT MOST NOTABLY Doug Reese Construction knowingly broke a gas line beneath my house and left for the weekend without alerting me. MY INFANT DAUGHTER AND I AWOKE ON THE MORNING OF SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13 TO GAS IN THE HOUSE! We had to move out of our house for eight days. Finally, AquaGuard Basement Systems decided to release Reese Construction Company from the job and finish it themselves. Needless to say I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH REESE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
