Jeremy is the best contractor I have worked with. We discovered a leak from the bathroom drain that had been ongoing for awhile so there was interior wall damage too. He came out and gave us an estimate. I had several other non-essential items I added to the list. He provided an estimate and it came in higher than we could afford due to some car issues we had earlier in the year. I let Jeremy know about the funds constraint and he worked with us to bring the project within budget. Because our only bathroom sink was out of commission, Jeremy was able to work us into his schedule earlier than originally thought and was able to complete the job within one day. All the work was done professionally and the site was cleaned up when he was completed. That night, there was an issue with some of the new plumbing and Jeremy came out that night to fix the problem so that we would not be without water overnight. Overall, it was the best experience I have had with a contractor. Jeremy is willing to answer any question you have and does not become defensive. Most interactions with contractors in the past usually end with an argument over quality of work or an item not being completed. With Jeremy the quality of work was not an issue and clear communication led to no scope arguments.

We live in a historic area and our home needed a face lift. This included a kitchen remodel, updated bathrooms, and upgraded electrical and plumbing. On the exterior, we replaced the roof and all the old, weathered fascia. At Jeremy's suggestion, we enlarged the front gable which gave the front of the house a much grander profile. A fresh coat of paint inside and out finished off the project. We feel like we have a brand new home without compromising the original character and charm. Jeremy stayed within budget, completed the job on time, and kept the construction mess contained. Jeremy and his crew did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier. Jeremy is trustworthy, dependable, honest, reliable, and very knowledgable. He listened to our ideas, was patient with our changes, and gave input that helped steer the project in the right direction. He went above and beyond our expectations.

We have used Rehm construction three times now. Once for a full remodel on one side of our house, once for a garage addition, the other was a complete kitchen remodel. Our home is over 70 years old, and Rehm construction handled everything with skill and expertise. The jobs were finished on time and within budget. Excellent communication and always clean. We would never think of using anyone else for our home.

My wife and I spent 9 momths interviewing Design/Build companies and contractors before we decided on Jeremy. We are so thankful we did. Jeremy added a family room to our house, completely remodeled our kitchen, added an entryway to our house and arches to our dining and living room.. He is honest , dependable and puts his heart and sweat into his work. He listens to your needs, doesn't cut corners and is very creative. We had a special area of the kitchen we wanted to have done. We showed him a picture of what we wanted and he designed it from scratch. Trust in Jeremy you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I had Jeremy replace two windows in our Game Room at the back of the house with new windows that are twice as large. This work entailed cutting through interior wood paneling, block, and external siding. I was impressed with how quickly he was able to to do the work, and appreciated him making sure the windows were installed and sealed the same day the cut-out was made, so there was minimal time exposing our home to the elements. We are very happy with the final product. The real-wood trim for the interior looks fantastic, and the exterior looks great as well. It lets in so much more sunlight now; it seems like it always should have looked this way. We're very happy with the work and the price.

Jeremy assisted us with the restoration of our flooring after a hot water heater flooded our home. This was such a mess and super inconvenient, but Jeremy worked with our timetable, our budget and was super flexible with me on all the little "extras" I wanted taken care of while we were under construction. One of the "extras" was new shelves in my pantry. You have no idea, that alone was life changing. His design and input was so thorough and well thought out - pantry chaos has been tamed! The project including all my flooring and trim, sparkling pantry, and all the rest were not only completed on time and in budget, but the work itself was flawless. He was actively part of every single step of our project! In particular his knowledge of 1950s home construction was invaluable. Anyone with an older home knows there are nuances to it and an experienced contractor who understands the construction of these homes is a rare find. Rehm Construction is my contractor of choice for all my home projects, big or small.

I think many DIYers end up balancing their time vs. the time a project takes vs. getting it done quickly and correctly. I had a small project that many others aren't interested in: change a swing door to a pocket door. This change out is not straightforward and I wanted to knock it out quickly, so I contacted Jeremy. Jeremy was not afraid of the small size of the project, he was prompt and was very helpful and thoughtful in discussing the options I had... which is unusual with smaller projects. The subcontractors he hired for drywall work were also prompt and did a great job, even though their scope was small. I could tell they had respect for Jeremy. The new pocket door fits perfectly and is exactly what we needed. Thanks Jeremy!

Had the outside of my home painted and some minor plumbing work done on the inside. The work was done exactly when Jeremy said it would be done. Completed in the amount of time Jeremy said it would take. All work contracted for was done as I wanted and described to him. The final punch list for the project was honored and completed in an extremely timely fashion. And the work was quality and within budget. I have dealt with 9 - 12 contractors as a home owner. Jeremy is by far the most honest and ethical I have done business with. He is timely and accurate in his communications and respects and keeps appointment times. I will be using him again.

At first meeting I knew Jeremy was the guy I wanted working on my home. He was prompt to the bid. His per sq foot cost was on mark. And through the entire process he kept us in the loop re: schedule via email and phone. Hammer and nails guys are a dime a dozen, but with Jeremy Rehm we also got ideas, suggestions, pride and integrity. All my friends laughed when I shared Jeremy's time line. "No way" they said. "Remodels always take longer than planned." Huh, somehow Jeremy was able to get our job done at budget and about two weeks EARLIER than planned. Here's how he did it. He worked it. He was personally involved. With each nail, with each wall I could see him take personal ownership of the job. I HIGHLY recommend Jeremy and Rehm Custom Construction.

It was a pleasure to work with Jeremy - as he has great taste & great ideas - he has great connections & very good rapport with workers who enjoy working for him.
