We contracted Reign Down Painting to repaint our rental property. They did an excellent job on the whole house for a very fair price. Carlos was always available over email and kept us apprised of the progress. Definitely plan to use this contractor again in the future. Highly recommended!!!

Although delayed for our original appointment, Carlos kept me informed of his arrival time, which worked for me. Carlos was professional throughout, completed a few extra tasks without charging for them, and completed his painting task with diligence. His work was timely, and I felt, a good value for the money.

First, the guy shows up late. I wouldn't write a complaint if that were the only problem but it's never good to be an hour late. The real problem is quality. We purchased this company's services through a Living Social deal to have a single room painted. The deal was that they were to paint a room -- excluding trim. Here's the problem: His "cut in" work (painting the edges at ceilings, trim, and wall corners) looks like he only applied one coat. It's a shade darker than the rolled-on work on the walls. I questioned it when reviewing his work and he said it would dry evenly. I bought the explanation and even gave the guy a tip. He was nice enough and seemed to be conscientious. Problem is, the walls dried and I have a 3" line at the corners and ceilings that is a shade darker than the walls. I called this morning and talked with Carlos to tell him about the problem. He tells me there's nothing they can do (they're obligated by the terms of the voucher - which he says limits them to 2 coats). He shows no interest in making me happy. This is bogus. First, I don't believe the guy painted 2 coats. Next, Carlos won't answer my question when I ask if HE would like a room at his house painted this way. He just leans on the voucher. He refuses to stand behind his work. Now I am going to have to finish a job we paid THEM to do. Do YOU want work like this at your house? I didn't think so.

It was a bad mistake to hire Carlos and his crew. We had our outdoors painted and I had asked him to just replicate the paint. There were some blisters on my old paint and that was the only reason I had to redo it. When we contracted him that was the MAIN thing he was to fix and finish. I noticed that the color that he was putting had a greenish hue to it. When I complained he said that its only a reflection. The following day it was evident that he had screwed up. Now he says that he is done with 85% of the job and is I wanted anything changed, I had to pay for the color. I had to pay an extra 40% for the paint and then after he was done, within a week the paint started peeling and blistering again. I have emailed and called him multiple times. He did come a couple of times and he was by no means pleasant. He never honored the warranty and told me that he used to be a law student and that I could take him to court. I hope that you can be saved from this guy, terrible ethics, horrible craftsmanship and pretty much no conscience.

We hired Reign Down to paint the interior of our new home prior to us moving in. Since we were not living in the house and were not able to monitor the quality of work as closely as maybe we should have, we were taken advantage of by Reign Down Painting. The two main problems we had with Reign Down were: 1.) They outright lied about what they had completed. We had contracted with Reign Down to paint all of the surfaces in our house with 2 coats of paint. Not only did they miss obvious sections of the walls with a second coat, they only did "touch up" painting on the trim, but tried to pass it off as 2 coats! 2.) The quality of work is abysmal. We hired professional painters so that there wouldn't be paint in places that it shouldn't be, so that the lines would be clean, and the overall quality would be much higher than we could do ourselves. Unfortunately, the work is so bad that we're going to have to pay a professional painter to come back and re-do all of the work that was done, plus paint all of the ceilings since Reign Down managed to get wall paint on all of our ceilings. We also have to have our hardwood floors, granite countertops, cabinets, and Jacuzzi tub professionally cleaned because of all the paint splatter.

We took the Kudzu exterior painting deal. Carlos and his crew were pleasant and courteous, and the work was well done (with the exception of painting a shed door shut). They were easy to communicate with once the job started, but needed a lot of prompting to get an estimate and to get started. We also found that they didn't necessarily keep good track of details. We found that we had to look at their work for completeness. When we pointed out what needed to be done, they did a good job of completing the work. We really like the final product-- our house exterior looks great and repairs were well done. If you do business with them, be prepared to take an active hand in supervising the details and thoroughness of their work.

These guys are the best. They showed up on time, were very courteous, and did a fantastic job. When they left you would have never known they were here other than the house looks beautiful. My wife is very happy and we would recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys!

I hired Reign Down to come out to my home to paint the interior of my home. I really appreciated the way they prepped the surface of my home as well as how they cleaned up after themselves every time they left for each day. They painted the colors I chose and painted in a professional a manner. I will definitely refer Reign Down to my family, friends, and co-workers. Thank you Reign Down for your hard work and service.

Bargain?- Not so much --when you figure in hours of frustration trying to get ahold of these guys..... Dependable?- Not so much-when they no call, no show--- or disrespectfully show verrrry late--without even the courtesy of a call.... Quality?-not so much-when you have to scrutinize every bit of the 'Work," already --alledgely- already done...and it has to be done and ReDone..! Service--Not so Good, as , in my estimation--an exceptional job-would entail a delighted homeowner having recieved great Value and Extra special...service-----Not having to call these guys back out time and time again with lists of their empty promises....I notice their 3 good reviews came on the same day-sent a couple of months ago---If they were/are so exceptional---why no GREAT ratings since?---why No decent ratings since?----- We did everything we could to make this job EASY for these guys..--and with little appreciation....Nickle and diming the customer---charging extra for what was initially promised does NOT serve as cause for repeat consumerism, nor good reference-I would NOT reccommend Them to recieve YOUR hard earned money....spend a little more for reliability, dependability and good service.

I learned about Reign Down Paint through a relative and was expecting to get quality service from a professional. Instead, after scheduling a consultation for an estimate with Carlos personnally, he neither showed up to my residence or called. No explanation was given, no attempts to return any of my phone calls or messages, nothing. Thank you Carlos! Despite losing some of my valuable time, you helped me dodge a bullet that is Reign Down Paint!

We bought house painting as a ‘Great Deal’ for $1895, and were disappointed at every turn. After the credit card was charged, we had to contact Kudzu to get our calls returned to schedule a meeting to choose colors, etc. Though the ‘great deal’ said all preparation was included, we paid an additional $300 to have the foliage cut back. When the ‘crew’ showed up to cut back the bushes, it was one man with a pair of grass shears who said he didn’t cut much back because ‘couldn’t tell a weed from a flower’. The amount of foliage he cut back would not fill up one of the wheeled trash cans we use for County garbage pickup. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for that; in fact I wouldn't contract with anyone for that amount of work. This same man did the pressure wash also. We left for a Doctor’s appointment before he finished the ‘prep’ work. When we returned, we checked his work. The windowsills were filthy, the doors and door frames hadn't been touched or cleaned at all, and he left the job without plugging the outdoor deep freezer back in, as he had said he would. He also knocked the runoff drain pipe off the air conditioning unit. Carlos came back out and did a much better job on the prep work, but repairs (as part of the prep work) were not made as promised. Nice guys, but not professional quality by a long shot.
