After reading thru the reviews in Kudzu I called for service on our dishwasher. I guess I should have suspected that something was amiss when the phone was answered without reference to Reliable. Remarkably they were able to come that afternoon. I was out, but the technician came and made a quick visit. He replaced a fuse and tightened a lose wire and charged the so-called rock bottom price of $160. The 20% discount brought it down to $130. Upon questioning the price during a followup call about a problem that did not appear to be resolved...I was told we got a great "Blue Book Price" and that any problems beyond the fuse replaced on the initial visit...would require paying for another service call. So much for standing behind their service. This puts them in the same bottom-feeding food group as A & E Service as far as I'm concerned. If there are further problems with this appliance...I will NOT be calling them back.

Finally found a great repairman We've tried a few other appliance repairs and were not impressed. Sam recently repaired refrigerator for us. I was initially impressed with his integrity on the phone, so I gave it a shot. He did a great job, was communicative and friendly. He showed up when he said he would and did a thorough job.I am so happy that I've finally found a good repairman!

Well I used Reliable Appliance to take a look at my stove. They said it was 7.95 for the service call. After the work was done they gave us a bill for 80bucks saying they did more then a service call. We only asked for a service call and for him to tell us what needed to be fixed. Told him to do no more then just the service call because we might just replace the unit. When he gave us the bill we told him no and said we would give you 10bucks just for you to leave. He got angry and wouldnt leave so we had to tell him we were calling the police so he would leave my home. I will NEVER use them again and will be sure to spread word so no one does. This company sent a shady person to my home and attempted to scare us into paying 80bucks.

Repair man came same day to repair dishwasher.Said part needed to be ordered and would cost $380.Said I needed to give $100 deposit.Next day the dishwasher started to work on it's own.Canceled the payment on $100 deposit. Received letter from lawyer saying I owed $125. I read the fine print on receipt and sure enough, I do.

This company is very professional and did a wonderful job repairing my fridge and washer. They are very reasonable ($230 for BOTH appliances)They even offered a warranty and used genuine manufacturer parts, not knock offs. I told all of my friends and family!!!I saved money because one company did all the work.Thank you!!!

I called them in the morning and there was a tech at my front door an hour later.I was skeptical at first because their ad seemed too good to be true. The tech was very honest and repaired my washer for only $274!! Sears estimated $589 for the same repair!!

I called this company for my kitchen garbage disposal problem very recently. Below is the way the technician behaved. I asked him to please remove his shoes and come in. His answer is my shoes are very clean. He didn't remove. He diagnosed the problem and told me that garbage disposal need to be changed as it is leaking. Estimated for $368. I asked him if he can split the estimate between cost of equipment and labor. He told me his labor charge is $95 and the rest is equipment cost. So it came up to $273 for a 1/3 HP Insinkerator. I told him I need to do some research. Technician took 8 dollars from me for the estimate and he gave me a reciept without even mentioning what the problem is and model I need to replace. When I asked him he told me I already what needs to be done and left. I searched on the internet for the same model and found that it is $72 at Lowe's Inc. I called Sears for the service and the Sears technician came in and replaced that with a better model and better HP (1/2 HP instead of 1/3 HP) just for $110 and labor for about $115 which came upto $225. BTW, When Sears technician came, the first question he asked me is "Can I come with my shoes on or do you want me to remove my shoes". That's what I liked in them. I like Sears. They are very reliable with excellent customer service and it is a big company and will respond immediately if there is a problem with in the warranty period.

Tech showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and gave an estimate. Total cost was under $200, so it seemed reasonable. The whole process took less than an hour. I did have a little trouble understanding him because of his accent.

The only positive is that they came at 2:30 for a same day appt. scheduled between 2-4 pm. Seemed Albert didn't know what was wrong with the dishwasher. He told me he was going to check for a "part". He went outside and was on the cell phone. He came back inside and said nothing to me. After a few moments of looking at the dishwasher he said it will cost $146 to fix. When I asked what was wrong he said water wheel or wild or something. Being that I stil did not understand what I could potential be paying $146 for I asked for a better explanation. The technician refused to tell me exactly. He became very evasive and his accent more pronounced so I really couldn't understand him. I was told that if I agreed to have dishwasher repaired then he would tell me what was wrong in detail. If I did not agree to repair then he would tell me nothing. In the end, he claimed it was a water electrical issue. He then said it was $20 for the estimate. I repeated that according to the internet it should be $7.95 he disagreed. So I politely brought my laptop over and read exactly what it said. IMO Albert was rude and really turned me off as a potential customer when he decided to not be honest about the repair. I will not do business with this company and now strongly believe the GREAT reviews are BOGUS! Oh and the part written on the receipt is VITEN VOVLES which is not even ENGLISH!! HORRIBLE company.
