My furnace began acting oddly - making new noises and putting off a different smell. I contacted Reliable off hours through their internet page, not expecting an immediate response. Surprisingly they... were online and made an appointment the very next day. Tim came out, promptly diagnosed the issue, replaced a part, repaired and cleaned my unit. He was professional, friendly and very patient with my endless questions. I had such good service as I have not experienced in a good while. I would definitely trust and use Reliable again.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
After receiving multiple quotes, we just had our upstairs AC unit replaced with a Trane Unit from Reliable. This was a switch from the last company we chose when we replaced our downstairs unit in... 2013. We were more impressed with the Reliable quote and the team who came to visit this time around. The install team of Sam and Jeremy were very polite, ontime, very careful with our flooring, they explained along the way where they were with the install process and they gave me a very thorough explanation of all the components once they finished. They even graciously threw the ball for my ball-obsessed dog over and over who never left their side while they were outside working. They made big fans out of us! We will continue to use and recommend Reliable!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I live in an older home in East Cobb that did not have any bathroom exhaust fans. I called Reliable to install a bathroom exhaust fan and run the vent out the roof, which they said they could do and provided a competitive quote. The installer came out and spent half the day completing the install. The first time it rained I woke up to my master bathroom flooded in water. The water came in through the roof, damaged my brand new insulation, and spread across the floor of my master bathroom. I immediately called Reliable and they sent the original installer to "fix" his screw up. They had to remove and replace some of my insulation and re-seal the roof vent. About a week later it rained again and once again water was penetrating the roof and damanged my insulation. Finally, Reliable sent their performance department manager to my house to inspect the issue. After losing my trust in their work, I called a roofing company to meet the Reliable manager at my house. The representative with the roofing company immediately recognized the issue. The manager at Reliable obviously recognized that they should of not completed such a job and hired the roofing company to fix Reliable's mistake. The roofing company had to replace a whole section of roofing shingles to fix Reliable's mistakes and stated Reliable's installer just used a bunch of tar to hopefully seal the vent to the roof. The issue has finally been fixed thanks to the roofing company!
I apologize the roof penetration was not properly sealed the first time. We install many holes through roofs and most of the time, it is not a problem. A hole is cut through the roof and the shingles and sealed with roofing tar to make sure no leaks occur and it is not a problem. In this case, it sounds like it was an unusual application that a roofer possibly should have handled form the beginning. I do apologize the installer did not recognize this, but often times, one is unsure whether it sealed correctly until it rains. I do appreciate your three star marks in service and value and I am happy to see we responded quickly and efficiently when a leak was discovered. We replaced the insulation that got wet and of course, paid the roofer to seal the roof against leaks. The first time our tech repaired the leak, it was still raining and it is next to impossible to fix a leak in the rain. We are not perfect and do make mistakes, but I was very pleased you reported we stayed with it until it was all corrected. Thank you for your business! Dan Jape
Jason and Josh did an awesome job installing our heat pump and ductwork for our basement. They were on time and did exactly what we wanted as far as duct placement so we could finish our basement they way we wanted. I would recommend Reliable to anyone needing anything heating and air related!
I have a 9 year old hvac zoned system that I wished to upgrade my control boards with wireless home automation thermostats. The guys were great. My system has never worked better. The guys were courteous and friendly and very helpful. I would highly reccomend them.
Our heat went out on New Years Eve, two days after I had come home from surgery. When we called the company that installed our system and explained the situation they said sorry we are closed for the holiday. We how you can find someone else. We called Reliable and they were at our house within 30 minutes. We had to have a complete new system but guess who we chose to install it? Reliable of course! Thank you Tenable and Jamal for leaving everything clean and tidy!
The technicians Sam and Jeremy were very professional. These guys did a excellent job with the installation of my new air conditioning system. They even took the time to show me how to operate and maintain it. When the guys left I felt that I had received a quality system and installation from a company that would stand behind it. I would highly recommend to anyone.Thank you
Very impressed with Jim and David's professionalism and customer service. Could not have expected any more from them.
We have three air conditioning systems in our home and have replace all three through Reliable Heating & Air. We had excellent service with all three replacements. The technicians for our last replacement (December, 2014) were Dustin, Phil, Garrett and L.T. They were courteous, professional, left everything immaculate, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Reliable was quick to work us into their schedule so that we would not have to be without service. We would definitely recommend Reliable Heating &Air and would use them again.
Great company. Will refer all friends and family!! on time polite and very respectful to my home. 100% satisfied.
Connor Morris of Reliable Heating & Air serviced my HVAC system. I was impressed by his customer service and attention to the details. Great Job.
I had a valve replaced that cost no more than $70.00 with approximately 40 minutes work. The charge was $468.00. Yes, Reliable is the best at ripping people off.
I do not know what valve you are speaking about you purchased since Kudzu does not give us your name, but I assume it may be a gas control valve for your furnace. We do not have many complaints about out pricing, but when we do, normally it is after we completed a repair and your heat or air is working fine again and a customer will go on the internet and try and see what the raw cost of a particular part is. The cost of a part purchased from our company is not just the price one would pay for the part off the internet since service companies today are use “flat rate” pricing. The cost of the total repair includes the cost of a knowledge technician driving to your home to diagnoses the problem with your unit and figure out why it does not operate. Our cost structure at Reliable is $50.00 per hour per man and this includes, gas, oil, wear & tear on vehicle, labor cost of tech, car insurance and workers comp. We have the knowledge of what is wrong with the system just like a doctor knows why you are sick and charges you for that knowledge. We stock the valve and most importantly, Reliable provides a warranty on the part which in today’s world is important as many new parts fail in a few years and the internet offers no warranty. Sometimes people find a part on the internet and it is cheaper than we pay at a normal supply house. This is sometimes due to the part on the internet being of lower grade or quality and sometimes it is an old part that is obsolete and has been replaced by a newer model. Regardless, just like all products today, the internet may be the cheapest route to acquire anything, but with shipping, waiting on the part to arrive and warranty concerns, it is never the right way to buy heating parts. Our price also includes the actual labor for the tech to install the parts which is this case is normally close to an hour. So when it is all said and done, Reliable earns a net profit of 6% or $28.08 on a sale of $468.00 and I will not apologize to any customer for this profit margin as we all work long, hard hours to accomplish this. Unless you have operated a business before, it is hard to look at a transaction in the bigger picture, sometimes focusing on only a small part of the entire process, the cost of goods sold. Thank you for your business and I am extremely happy your house will be warm and comfortable this holiday season, Dan Jape, owner. Call me on my cell at 404 626-2344 if you would like to discuss this repair further.
We needed help with our electrical system. Wesley from Reliable arrived and quickly fixed one problem and found the second. He very precisely replaced an in floor outlet and helped us to arrange the cords so that the cords would not get damaged. We are indeed grateful for his care and expertise in working with us. PS: He is a good teacher
Reliable's techs are the kind of people that you feel good about having on your property. They did excellent work and are concerned with getting the job done to our satisfaction. We had new cables and data lines run throughout the house.
I highly recommend this company. My Technician was Phillip Morrison who was professional and courteous. I hope he is my technician every time.
This past weekend we had our upstairs gas furnace and air conditioner replaced, along with reconfiguring some of the duct work in the attic. The guys (Jorge, Jesse, and Chad) not only did a fantastic job, they were very professional and courteous. They truly went above and beyond in both areas Reliable should be proud to have these guys on their team.
Conor Morris was the technician that came to service my HVAC system. He did a thorough job and took the time to explain what he did, and what I could do to improve the system. I appreciated his honesty.
