Reliable Heating & Air sells Energy Star rated equipment and recycles several tons of metal, steel, aluminum, copper, and cardboard each week. All r-22 (Freon) is recovered and turned into an EPA reclamation facility. All new equipment we sell and install uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R410a. Our technicians are EPA certified and trained in the proper handling and disposal of the HCFC R-22 (Freon).

I needed to have my dryer vent relocated so I called Reliable. Belter & Dustin where the ones to come out to the house. They we both professional, friendly and polite. Once they were complete with the job they made sure that the work area was clean and back in order.
I got two new Trane systems back in September. It took two visits to get my problem fixed. It turned out to be a wire that was shorting out. Not sure why they weren't able to fix it the first time but I'm really glad to have it fixed. Thank you Reliable. Thank you for the 10 year warrenty also.
Jeff was a great sales manager and gave us a detailed description of the works to be completed. Jason came out and did the installation of the 2 Heating/AC complete systems and did a fantastic job! Very pleased with the services provided. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.
I've been a Reliable Customer since 2000. Three houses later, I'm considering a change. It's not that they're bad, it's just I'm getting tired of the constant sales push. My A/C unit is less than 10 years old. I want you to "maintain" it, not try to sell me a new one every time you come out to do my HVAC service.
Ted came out and walked us through our options for replacing our tired HVAC system. No hassle at all. A few days later our system was installed by Johnnie and Eric. They did excellent work... our old system was removed (even though they had to completely disassemble our old furnace to get it out of the attic) and our new system was installed in no time (including a new zone system). They were friendly, polite, and kept us informed of their progress throughout the day. In the end, they cleaned up after themselves and explained everything they had done. The system works great and our house is comfortable. Overall a very pleasant experience.
When the lady from Reliable called to tell me who would be coming to my house she said that her best man was coming, his name was Marty. She wasn't kidding. Marty K and Matt S were awesome. Professional, knew their jobs, and were just the nicest guys. This house had never had central heating or air and the ductwork was a challenge that they overcame with no stress and a smile on their face. They worked well together and made the whole experience painless. After having to replace 1/4 of the floor joists and a section of exterior wall unexpectedly, I needed that. The electrician was very nice and professional as well. I will always recommend Reliable Heating and Air.
Blain Graham and Josh Zielinski spent three days in our home installing additional insulation. Leaving our home while work being done was never an issue. They are very trustworthy. At job's end, they were mindful enough to take us through all the improvements to the insulation that they made. They were very professional, neat, and the job was completed successfully to our satisfaction. I would recommend Reliable Heating and Air without hesitation.
Purchased the HVAC tune-up plan for Spring and Fall. After the fall service was performed per the technician's boxes checked another company was hired to come and perform the same services. We were informed those services were obviously not performed when the Gas Co was out to repair a leak less than a week after the service. Scheduled the spring service with the first availability not until May 14th. This scheduling does not reflect priority service and I am not looking forward to standing over a technician to be sure the job is performed as described so an additional company isn't needed to perform the same spring tune-up. I would not recommend for general service maintenance.
The priority service we provide for our contract customers is for breakdowns and emergencies. Routine service and maintenance is scheduled out further than breakdowns so we can keep enough techs available for times when customers have no heat or cooling. I will have our customer service manager contact you and get the details about any service performed that did meet our normal standards. If our tech did not do all the required items on a tune up, we will make sure it is corrected. The two systems we installed for you have 10 year parts and labor warranties and can be extended to lifetime coverage as long as the routine service is performed making this a good investment for someone who plans on staying in their home for a extended time. Proposed for New $3000 Unit. $800 proposed for just recharge. What happened to fixing exist system
I apologize the tech did not explain your problem better. You have a Freon leak in your system and the fix to this is to replace the indoor coiling coil and the outdoor unit. Your system uses R-22 Freon which the EPA has phased out due to the damage to the ozone layer. We can still buy Freon for a couple of years more, but to convince people to replace their old units, production of Freon is restricted to a small amount of what is needed which has sent the price sky rocking. They government has cut production this year by 57% and will keep reducing the amount each year until no more will be manufactured. The leaks that develop in old Freon systems are not repairable and you would not want to simply put more Freon in as it will just leak out. No one likes to hear that they have to buy a new system, but over the next few years, everybody with a leaking unit will have to face this reality. My experience with Reliable is, that they are what their company name says. They are Reliable. When I first called and needed help, my 23 year old unit had quit and it was the first day that I needed the air conditioner on. I had no cool air at all. I spoke with Tim McWaters and he was great and got me the help I needed from a technician named Jerome. He was great, he fixed my old unit enough to get me some cool air until I could have mine replaced. The technician, Chuck, came on time and replaced my unit for a new one. He did a excellent job! Very courteous and knowledgeable. Everyone I have spoken with in the this company has exceeded my expectations tremendously! They are all great at what they do and care for their customers. I bought a Trane system about 11 years ago from Reliable. Today after around 24 or more visits by Reliable for repairs I decided to call Shumate Cost me $500 to get them to do the same thing Reliable had done 20 other times, put gas in the system. Last year Reliable did a lot of work on the system again and assured me it was fixed. Guess what, same issue again The owner assured me they would take care of it, but I guess not. I will give Reliable credit, They were always quit to respond. After ten years of twice a year visits and not fixing the problem, me taking time off from work to meet them, high electric bills from the system running all the time I have had enough. That is why I have gone to another company and will not depend on Reliable because they are anything but. Thank God the system had a 10 year warrant on it because it needed every bit of it. I do appreciate you giving us credit for always coming out and fixing this system each time you had an issue. I believe we have replaced every major component on your system under the 10 year parts and labor warranty we provide. There is now a refrigerant leak somewhere that needs to be fixed and repaired or the leaky component replaced. I wish you had called us to let us know you had an issue and we would have put refrigerant back in it at for now to get you cooling. I looked at your service records and see there has been multiple issues over the years and I will gladly repair or replace whatever the problem is for no charge. I realize you are out of warranty, but when I see a pattern of problems, I will not stop until we get it fixed. The leak may be in the copper lines or in the coils, but I will find it and fix it. Trane has a policy of allowing us to fix the issue out of warranty when there has been a continuing problem. But I have to know when there is a problem. My experience with Reliable Heating & Air was AWESOME from start to finish. My salesman Mick Inzer was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgable and figured out exactly what I needed to solve my problems. When I ask him to rework the estimate to try to reduce it even a little, he did just that and emailed me the new estimate promptly. On the first day of installation he came first thing to go over the plans with the installation crew. PROFESSIONAL!!!!! My installation crew where very professional, courteous and respectful also. Dustin & Garrett where very knowledgable about the installation process and kept me up to date on their progress and plans. They where here for 3 days and traveled a long distance to complete my job. When they where done under my house where the new install was was neat and clean (better than when they started, LOL) there where no signs of them even being here. I had a gas ling run to the new gas range, also a line run to the outside patio for a gas grill. Everything was excellent except the gas line to the grill needed to be more secure.
