Reliable Heating & Air sells Energy Star rated equipment and recycles several tons of metal, steel, aluminum, copper, and cardboard each week. All r-22 (Freon) is recovered and turned into an EPA reclamation facility. All new equipment we sell and install uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R410a. Our technicians are EPA certified and trained in the proper handling and disposal of the HCFC R-22 (Freon).

Tammi at the service center was very understanding of my situation and scheduled Timothy Pomella to take a second look at my unit. He shared with me that he reviewed and was apprehensive about... taking the service call. We talked and he sympathized with my situation. He noticed my system was low on freon. He made a call and explained my situation for a complimentary service approval. Two hours later (couple of pounds of freon, capacitor, & batteries), my system was up in running and restored to its pre-inspection condition. Overall, I think Reliable is a good company that works hard to please its customers as evidenced with Timothy. He went above and beyond and most certainly deserves recognition from the higher ups who read this attaboy. I'm glad my system is functioning, but am concerned that the maintenance was not properly performed because Timothy identified a number of obvious things that should've been easily detected by Wayne. Tim just inspected the outside unit, which leaves concern about the evaporator. Maintenance money well spent?... not so sure, but I am happy that Reliable made it right. My house needed more. There were a few locations that were cold or hot depending on the season. Lee did a fantastic job to recommend a larger supply line and extra returns to solve the problem. Raul, Harold, Ray, and Frankie installed the system to perfection. This company solves your problems and does more than just sell you a replacement for what you already have. We could have just bought a larger unit from the other guys, but then we would have had the same problem.
My wife and I purchased an HVAC maintenance plan from Reliable for the house we had just bought. The system was pretty old when we moved in so we figured some maintenance was in order. Our technician, Keith Jones (or KJ as he is known), arrived on time. He introduced himself with a firm handshake and went to work. He did a thorough job on our old systems explaining what maintenance was needed and giving tips on how to improve our AC performance as he went. All in all very courteous and careful around our home. When he went into the attic to check the furnace he took the precaution of laying a towel down on the newly re-finished floors before lowering the attic stairs. The quality of service we received re-affirmed our decision to go with Reliable for HVAC maintenance.
We had a great experience with reliable. Cody and Matt cleaned our ducts this morning. They were on time, courteous, and professional. They repaired one of our ducts and went above and beyond expectations. I'd recommend them for sure.

Our furnace went kaput during one of the hottest weeks this summer and we got quotes from several vendors. Our salesperson Ted was friendly and responsive and gave us a great quote. The installers Randy and Andrew were very professional, efficient and kept me informed throughout the process. Working with Reliable was about as painless as it could be without AC during a hot spell in Atlanta. I look forward to working with them on our ongoing maintenance. Even the people who answer the phone are on the ball. A refreshing change from our former HVAC company.

They were on time each day. Answered all of my 100 questions with great knowledge. Brought a helper in training and he was very polite and worked diligently in that hot attic with a positive attitude. Only suggestion is to take more breaks. The first day they cranked out with no lunch break. Great workers indeed!
Jason and his partner were very courteous and informative of what they were doing and answering questions. New units were installed timely and completely. Used Reliable 15 years ago and they still provide super service.
I really wanted to give a 5 star review. When our second floor HAVC unit went out, we called Reliable after reading many positive reviews. They were able to come out the next day, on a Saturday. It was as we feared, our 13 year old unit was toast. We went with their recommendation of a new Trane 3-ton unit, including the new furnace. They came the following Wednesday and installed the new unit (it was an all day process). It was heaven...cool air and the temperatures finally down from 86 to a comfortable 68. We were able to enjoy that for a whole 2 weeks. Much to our dismay, on the hottest day of the year, our brand new, quite expensive unit, quit working. We called them the next day and the best they could do was to offer to send out someone out three days later. Well, what choice do we have but to suffer through the 86 degree temperatures again and wait? We're so disappointed and frustrated!! You would think that when a customer calls to report a problem after only two weeks, they could send someone out ASAP, but I guess since they were already paid, we're no longer a priority. Buyer Beware!! 8.14.14 Our names are Michele & Jerry Partap and despite your "logs", we did wait three days. Still no working air, no call from manager, missed promised repair today after took off work to be available. I'm at my wits end!!
I do apologize the new unit experienced a problem. I have checked and checked and I cannot find any time where we did not have same day service available. We are open with live operators in our office 24 hours a day and we log all calls and cannot find anyone who was not offered same day service. We had our routine service completed by Connor Morris. He did an excellent job on telling me the condition of our system. He went above bad beyond with a lot of extra details without being ask, such as putting in a back plate to our thermostat and with marking what our filter as so we don't have to climb up into the attack each time to look before we get more filters. I would highly recommend Reliable and will ask for Connor again!!
Called Reliable for service on Thursday and they were able to come out on Saturday based on my crazy schedule. Conor Morris has been here before for maintenance and is our requested serviceman. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue, going step by step over what was done. Fixed in two hours! We are happy!!
My technician KJ showed up at my home on time. He thoroughly troubleshot my broken HVAC system and was clear and concise when explaining each step he used to diagnose the problem. He was friendly, responsive and did a thorough job of clean up when finished. I would recommend KJ as a service tech to anyone in need of quality service.
