Brian & Shaw installed a new AC unit in my house. They were early and finished before I thought they would. My house was cool in about two hours. Couldn't be happier!

I'm doing a high end remodel job in Canton Ga, received three different quotes for a total replacement of 2-full HVAC units in a 20 year old home. I found the sales person Mick Inzer was very experienced and new his trade. Out of the three companies that quoted my job it was Mick who didn't push me but rather took the time face to face and over the phone that sold this job. The other guys made me feel as if I was wasting there time and they needed to move on. Mick's professionalism was awesome! I'm in the construction field and when someone ask me for HVAC recommendations it will be Reliable and Mick Inzer numbers that will be given. Thanks Again! E Horton
I called Reliable to do a routine service on my unit, Jermiah came out to do the service, he called when enroute and once he arrived was friendly and professional. He did a full inspection, found that I had a freon leak, that one of the connection boxes was wired wrong and explained all my options, I never felt like I was being pressured into buying a new system, but was advised that it would need to be done at some point. Next time I need Heating and Air work done, I will definitely call Reliable again.
After a power surge came through my home and the fire department had left, I needed an electrician. Reliable was there in no time, made sure all was OK and left me feeling at ease that no other problems will occur. The technician Allen, was wonderful!
We needed some electrical work done on the house and called Reliable. Our serviceman, Allen Patrick, did an excellent job fixing an outlet and providing a quote for further work. We look forward to working with Reliable for our electrical needs.
I noticed Saturday that AC was out upstairs but working fine downstairs in rental property. New tenants moved into the home Sunday and immediately complained about the heat they were hit with upstairs. I called Reliable Monday morning due to the great reviews here. I had several 'shadetree' AC repair techs work on the AC unit in the past to no avail so figured I'd hire professionals this time around. I explained the situation to Steven at Reliable and he advised that he couldn't promise he'd be able to send someone out same day but would try. Well, a couple hours later, I got a call from Reliable saying they had a HVAC tech in route to the property. I was absolutely elated that the tenants wouldn't have to suffer another day without AC after all. I had to work that day so could not be there when the tech arrived and Steven advised that they work with Landlords all the time so could still send someone out. I was completely trusting Reliable to go out to the property without my supervision and be honest with their assessment of the AC issue. Bruce, the HVAC tech, arrived to the property within 30 minutes. About an hour later, Bruce called explaining what the AC issue was, what he did to fix it and that the AC upstairs was now working as it should. He was very fair, honest and reasonable with the cost to repair, much less that I expected to pay. The tenants are enjoying the AC and I will definitely be using Reliable again! Thanks Bruce!
Our a/c was not cooling the house so we called Reliable. Chad Mauldin came out Saturday morning and diagnosed the problem in a few minutes as a failed capacitor. He quickly replaced it and it has worked fine ever since. Chad was prompt, professional and handled the repair quickly. The cost was about what we expected (a little under $200 with coupon). If we have problems again we will call Reliable and ask for Chad. They did a great job.
Recently I had to have my a/c and heating unit replaced. Tim listened to my needs and gave me recommendations to stay in my budget. Jorge, Kainan, Justin and Jesse were very professional and did a great job. I would recommend Reliable Heating Air and use them again.
6 appointments: 3 no call-no shows 3 late between 30 minutes to hour and a half without a notice I picked "Reliable" because of all the positive online reviews. The inspection visit went well. I trusted those guys and agreed to pay several thousand dollars to solve a complicated insulation issue in my house. The jobs were contracted out to other companies that were courteous and respectful once they were here. They did what seemed to be a good job but now I still have parts of the house that are unusable in the summer without an additional window AC unit. The worst part is the scheduling and value. Almost every time I had to call and make sure they will show up. They would run late and I would lose days out of my office just waiting on them to be late for their 2 hours windows. I asked to cancel after the first 2 missed appointments but they were apologetic and offered a discount so I kept using them. Finally, they missed an appointment to fix my AC so I canceled (after at least 1 week of trying to get the job done). I called another company and they had my AC up and running within hours of my first call FOR HALF THE PRICE Who knows how overpriced the insulation job was. They charge close to $100 per pound of R22. The alternative company charged me $45
I apologize the spray foam company was so difficult to deal with. We have a spray foam machine that handles smaller jobs, but on large jobs like yours, we use an outside vendor who has a larger spray machine that can handle the type of foam you needed. They have always been good to work with and customers have always been pleased, but I do understand they did not live up to our standards at your home and we did give you a discount. One of the reasons I started my own plumbing and electrical divisions years ago was to stop this very type of situation where we canít control arrival times and scheduling. I had this issue when referring plumbing contractors and after not finding a responsible one, decided to hire our own plumbers and electricians, thus started our full service mechanical company. We did not know when the foam company was running late and could not be proactive and let you know ahead. Time scheduling is one of the more difficult tasks to do well and we recently changed back to our system of simply giving an am or pm time frame and give our customers a phone call an hour or so ahead of time to let them go about their day and not have to wait at home on us. Our customers love this system since it allows them to not wait at all, but rather come home at the exact time the tech is expected to arrive.
I donít believe any type of spray foam or any insulation can take the place of a well-designed heating and cooling system. Some insulation companies portray foam insulation as an alternative to a good cooling system and it is simply not accurate.
Freon R-22 is being phased out and is very expensive at this time and will go up even higher after 2015 when a more restrictive production schedule is put in effect. It has not been used in air conditioners in years and our price is comparable to most all reputable companies. All our techs have scales and charge for exactly what we put in your unit. Many companies do not weigh in the Freon and while they charge below market price like the $45 you mentioned, they simply over charge you for what they claim was installed and you never get to see the scale or weight of what was installed. Thank you for your business and I am glad you felt the foam install was a good quality installation and good value. Dan Jape, owner
We were informed a few weeks ago (by another company) we would need to replace our air conditioning unit. We decided to get some quotes from other companies and we were referred to Reliable by my father. Raymond came out and provided excellent service. He was knowledgeable and fair. We do not have to immediately replace out unit because Raymond determined a temporary fix which was not an option provided by competitors! When we do replace our unit next year we will definitely use Reliable. Thank you for being honest and fair!!
I've used Reliable for over 7 years and this time I'm very disappointed. It's a very expensive lesson. They installed a shower/tub combo and they ripped out all of the sheetrock in the wall and now my shower isn't even with the wall and I have to pay someone over $400 to come out and fix the sheetrock. I guess they are good at just installing and it's your worry on how you fix what they screwed up. They should have never put all the shower walls up without the sheetrock behind it. It's as if they didn't care.
I do want to assure you we do care and I apoligize the plumbers were not able to explain the installation of a tub/shower unit better to you so you would understand the process. The installation of a new tub requires the sheetrock be cut out all around the unit as sheetrock is never installed behind a shower unit. The tub/shower attaches directly to the two x four stud wall and cannot be attached to the sheetrock. I realize it seems odd to you when you look at it before the sheetrock is mated up to the tub unit, but it will all make sense when you do have your drywall installed. Most people have never seen how a tub installs so it can be a shock, but no additional sheetrock is cut than has to be cut to add or replace a full tub/shower enclusure. We have a sheetrock contractor we can recommend if needed. Thank you for your business and I am sure this will all make sense when the projsect is completed and you see how the tub unit mates to the wall. Dan Jape, owner.
I used Reliable Heating and Air this week to replace my AC unit. And I'm very satisfied with the quality of the Service and technical advice I received. Their technical recommendations fully matched my online research. And the technicians who came to install the AC unit (Raul and Ram) were on time, very efficient, very knowledgeable and very nice.
We must have been with out AC for 3 weeks, we finally decided on Reliable to put in our new AC. Brett Kremple and Jeff c. came out and did a great job installing our new unit. They even offered to get us a drink when they left for lunch. XD
In 2012, we had our downstairs unit replaced by Reliable. It has worked great. In 2014, we had our upstairs unit replaced by Reliable. Michael Cole was the sales person for both units and we were very pleased. Terrell and Johnny installed the latest unit. They did a great job, protected everything, and cleaned up. Trane was out of my selected system, and I was upgraded to the next level without charge. It was the same energy specs, but the higher quality outside case. Great job both times.
My wife and I are so very pleased with the total experience from the initial call all the way through to the first visit from Tim Mcwaters to the installation from 2 great company guys Terrell and Tommy, I would definitely recommend Reliable to any of my family and friends thank you for your quality service
Talked to Bruce W and he helped me get my AC going again. No need to delay my vaca. My family thanks you!
