Ed did a water damage repair for us. He did what he said he would do and willingly came back for a bit of touch up. Price was very good and same for the overall work. It is rare in the service industry to get someone who does what they say they will. My hat is off to you, Ed. Make sure to give him time and leeway to get the job done and you will be happy.

I have looked for several years for a painter willing to refinish the varnished wooden doors and windows in our breakfast area. No one was willing to try to refinish rather than just paint over the old finish. Ed gave us a good price and performed professional work. I was especially impressed with how much time Ed and Brian spent prepping the area prior to the actual staining and varnishing and how closely he was able to match the finish in the rest of our kitchen area. Our rooms were kept clean and tidy and they left the project every night in great shape. This was the best experience I have had with a painting project. I have already scheduled additional work with Remedy Painting.

Ed Okenica is fabulous! He painted my great room 10 years ago. The room still looks freshly painted. Every room he has ever painted (worked with him 2-3 times) looks fabulous! (still) His secret is the PREP. Wall doubles in vaue just after the PREP. Painting is the icing on the cake! Worth every dime..trust me. Ellen Garlin

Thanks Mary Beth. It's gotten to the point that I can't remember which rooms I have painted or how many times. I really enjoy coming to work at your house because it is a comfortable familiar place where I have been treated fairly. I will be ready for the next phase when you are.
I contacted Ed at Remedy Painting based on other Kudzu reviews. I wasn't sure whether our house needed to be painted yet and told him I needed someone to come out and do a thorough inspection and make recommendations. From that first phone call, I pretty much knew we would end up working together. When Ed came to our home to inspect the exterior, he showed me concerns that I never would have been aware of. I asked him to prepare an estimate and he came up with a very fair price. I can't begin to adequately express how delighted my wife and I are with the job Ed and Brian did. They went far above and beyond what we expected and were here every day doing all the work themselves. They are truly professional craftsmen and, in the process, they truly earned our trust and became our friends. Unlike most companies, they overdelivered on their promises. For example, they put two coats of stain on our deck when we would have been very happy with one. They put two coats of paint of the steel poles that support our deck and the large beam under the deck. We never expected them to even touch those items. They even installed new blinds on our garage windows and replaced our outside floodlights, all at no cost. I spent 39 years in the insurance business all over the country and have known and worked with many painting contractors. I can honestly say that Remedy is head and shoulders above anyone else I have known in the painting business.

Mr. Steve Tuttle, my new favorite client. Thank you for the wonderful review. Good people like you who pay the initial quoted price and are appreciative of what we are doing make it a pleasure to throw in little extras. Although I am flattered by your review I have had similar references before, and I would like to think that every client is potentially going to recieve the same service. Working with the Tuttles was a real pleasure and makes me realize that I enjoy my job on many different levels. Steve, you and Barb are super people and we wish you nothing but the best wishes.
Ed and his associate did an outstanding job in removing wallpaper and painting our home office. The original paint was very dark and Ed helped me choose a lighter color scheme. They transformed the office in only two days and were very professional, using very high quality materials and cleaning up perfectly when the job was completed. Remedy Painting is first rate! Thanks Susan! This was a great project in many ways. First of all, Susan was easy to work with and had the room ready for us when we arrived to get started. The before and after pictures turned out great, I just wish I remembered to take a picture before we removed the border. Susan knew the color she wanted as a whole and we "tweaked it" alittle by applying the upper shade at a 25% formula of the lower to give her office some contrasting color. Please refer to my photos page to take a look. If I could have two jobs like Susan's per week, I would be a happy camper!
Ed painted my formal living and dining room. He did an extraordinary job from start to finish. He uses only high quality materials and top of the line equipment. He was extremely detail oriented and very open to my ideas. He was ,also, patient and flexible with changes I made during the process. His proposal was thorough and his completion was timely. I look forward to having Ed complete other jobs for me in the near future. I would highly recommend Remedy Painting. Donna & Terry O'Connor

Thanks for the great review Donna and don't forget we also did your foyer, two halls and powder room as well. This was one of the most rewarding projects from a craftsmans prospective and tested most of the painting skills I have worked on perfecting over my 20 plus year career. There were some intricate cased openings that Donna had installed to give her common living areas a more old world Savannah feel. In order for these brand new casings to have the professional results I knew Donna was seeking they had to be prepped perfectly and have the paint sprayed to prevent any drips, runs or brush marks. In essence a factory finish. Donna had great vision and knew what she was looking for. She did a tone on tone color scheme that was highlighted by a decorative finish Ralph Lauren Candlelight that gave it a neat flair. It was one of those projects where at the end you could stand back and go WOW look what we did together. Please refer to my photos page to get a look for yourself. I look forward to working with the O'Connors in the future.
A professional couple who are being transferred for business. Their real estate agent recommended that they repaint some traffic areas and remove dated wallpaper. Time was of the essence so we worked really hard to meet time constraints. Please refer to wallpaper pictures in my photo album.
From quote to finish we have been very pleased with the process of having the exterior of our home painted by Remedy Painting. The guys were always on time, provided prompt responses via phone & email, and offered competitive pricing. We appreciated their two man team approach to quality instead of massive crews with less attention to detail. They ensured the area was left tidy at the end of each painting day and completed the job as scheduled. Ed, Brian, & their recommended carpenter were all pleasant, considerate, and knowledgeable in their trade, and because of that our home looks great and will for years to come. We have, and will continue to recommend Ed & Remedy Painting to friends looking for professional quality & service.

A project that started with a Remedied bathroom and ended with a Remedied exterior.
We take pride in our long term relationships and such relationships have become commonplace at Remedy Painting. Most homeowners tackle their painting needs in stages. Once they find a contractor they trust, they like to stick with them. Thanks for your years of patronage.
Brian and Ed did a fine job. Thorough estimate. Reasonable price. Good preparation on surfaces and careful attention to detail during painting. Floors and furniture were well-covered. Final result was better than I had hoped.

The painting industry and paint manufacturers have been striving to make paint more eco friendly for years. At Remedy Painting we try to use latex based products as often as possible. When we do have to use alkyds, we recycle our mineral spirits for use at a later date. Many homeowners ask how to dispose of old paint. The best thing to do is to take off the lids, let the liquid dry to a solid state and dispose through your trash service.
