Wonderful Experience!
It took a while to search for good doctors who would help with my miscarriages, someone gave me a recommendation to go to RBA. I am SO glad that I came here. They have given me the care and testing that I needed to help diagnose why I was having miscarriages, and also have been supportive. After only three months of going to RBA, I am now pregnant and thanks to the doctors recognizing that I need to take Lovenox to prevent miscarriages and blood clots, everything is going well. Dr. Mitchell-Leef is excellent and extremely knowledgable, and the nurses on staff are very quick at responding and professional. I have been very nervous with this pregnancy, and they are understanding about that as well. I wish I had come here sooner, but I am just glad that I did! It has been a very positive experience, and I wish all doctors and nurses gave you the care and knowledge that RBA does.

If you aren't using the egg bank don't bother!
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! They are terrible about callbacks, in particular Dr. Shapiro and his staff.. They also rely on a cookie cutter protocol and won't bother to change anything even if you have concerns. I am sorry I wasted my money here and now we are having to start over some place else. They also have a charge sheet that reads like a menu and you pay a DEPOSIT on your cycle and have to add to it if it gets low, whereas most other places you know your cost upfront! Very shady dealings going on with this place!

Dr. Slayden and RBA staff are absolutely wonderful
I spent the better part of a year working with Dr. Slayden and the folks at RBA. Everyone that we dealt with at both the main office and the Northside office were so pleasant and professional. We had 3 failed IUIs, but Dr. Slayden encouraged us to either try again or try IVF. When we expressed both ethical and financial concerns about IVF he took the time to educate us but also encouraged us to seek counsel and not do anything we weren't comfortable with. We did seek counsel and we also followed up with nurse Tracy who answered a slew of questions about IVF which made us much more confident with the manner in which the little lives are handled. We still had financial concerns and Dr. Slayden told us about a medical study which I might qualify for which would cover the costs. It took a lot of testing and applications, but we did qualify and received the treatment for free. The service was always top notch, the study coordinator was very involved and caring, and no details were overlooked. I would be writing this review even if the procedure had not been successful because it was such a positive experience. Praise God, we are now expecting a little girl (and we still have 2 embryos frozen)! Thank you Dr. Slayden and everyone at RBA! You're the best!

Highly recommend RBA
I was surfing the site and just had to post a comment. I have to admit that going through any fertility treatment comes with its challenges. We were recommended to RBA by a friend that was not successful, and still recommended RBA because of the quality of care she had during her treatment. I personally have nothing but praise for RBA. Unlike some practices, when you choose a doctor, for the most part…you see your doctor and their staff throughout your care. RBA was more than happy to help us arrange financing for our treatment as well. We feel very blessed to have had a successful outcome from our fertility treatment and I would recommend RBA to anyone seeking Infertility treatment.

Better find a Doctor who has time for you
We had a bad experience at her office with Dr. Dorothy at Reproductive Biology Assoc Inc. We realize that she doesn't have time for the patient, is always on the run. We were not fully informed about the risks and chances of getting a successful IVF. The office is very active in securing the advance money but not so caring about the results of any treatment. In our case, she kept telling us that every thing is great, you are doing well and at the last moment we realized that all that was just the good side and we were never informed of the negative side of the tests. It was a huge emotional shock for us when we went for the procedure on the last day. She was not there to advise, results were not there as she told us earlier. It was a worst experience at her office and we won't recommend anyone going there.
